When my husband and I got married I was 29 and he was 22. we have been together for 40 years. I understand their love and the way he looks at her. I to have been treated like a queen. I pray Marty and Connie many more years together and would love to hear new songs from them. we plan on seeing them this fall at Renfro Valley.

Such a beautiful song by such a beautiful couple. They were meant to be together forever. My husband and I were lucky to see them recently at the AMT in Lancaster, Pa. What a fantastic show it was. I love how they look at each other when they are singing together. There is something very special and caring there.

Let's remember that the marty stuart met connie Smith he was only 12 years old and it was at concerts in his home town for Philadelphia Mississippi it was before they met each other again and it was connie Smith wanted to make a record and couldn't find any good songs and marty asked if writes and she some everyone nose that you con sing but you've got to write a few days later they got together with Harlan Howard and did a shuffle. And a few years later marty stuart and connie smith were married and at this time thay have married four 25 years.
Who cares about age differences either way!! True love is hard to find so let's not be ageist!! There is too much emphasis made on older women marrying younger men especially. I have friends/family who are married to men 10-12 yrs younger than themselves and they have been together for over 40 yrs. Myself, I get on better with younger men and statistics prove women live 8 yrs or so longer so don't we want to die around the same time as our husbands?? Come on get over it already!!
