Looks so good! With this method of applying, did no UV glue get on the inner surfaces? Because that would be unfortunate. Also, does it glue the plastic parts together? Can you still take the pieces apart after you UV coated them?

NO, UV coating only apply on outer surfaces, and it still can be taken apart after the coating.

@@OlgaFyodorova Yes, nail polish UV gel, not UV glue. And the 3 parts of corner may not be splitable because the edge of junctions is sticked together. You may take them apart but the coating may broke randomly.

Louis, hello again :) I'm thinking of trying this, and when I got to an online store for UV nail polishes, I got lost immediately. There are base coats, modelling coats, top coats and what not. I even consulted with my friend who is a manicurist! What I gathered is that the base coat is sticky after you cure it, and you have to apply the top. Is the nail polish you used a top coat type? And is it a UV LED lamp? Do you have any information as to whether Gan and Moyu use a similar UV-cured substance? Have you used any of your UV coated cubes for an extensive time? How does the coating hold up? Sorry for a lot of questions :)

Wow I never thought there are that much different types of UV polishes. According to your friend it should be top coating other than been sticky. And yes it is a UV led light/lamp. Sorry I can’t get access to know what exactly Gan and Moyu used for their UV cubes but I think it is very close. I don’t think the UV cubes make any differences in solving time(it may do if I am a sub-8 Cuber yet I’m not😆) Good luck!

@@cubershop Haha yeah. I have a couple of Gan UV coated puzzles, and I love their feel on my fingertips. They don't affect my solving time of course. What I meant is how durable is your own coating? Did you solve a lot on any of the cubes you coated yourself.
