I was about to take this vehicle in 2nd hand, but my mother refused it.. Eventually bought ALTROZ. Although Altroz didn't disappoint me but still I wish if I could own this vehicle!

Proud Scross diesel owner since 4 years! Have completed 51000kms, i have a creta diesel as well , yes it does feel underpowered but the quality and driving dynamics of this scross is much better! Bad roads and rough driving over potholes have made lot of dashboard ratting noises inside.. But still the engine is superb.. 22kmpl on highway! and 11.5lakh on road with almost all the must have features are there..its a very reliable car.
My 2016 1.6 Delta S-Cross has clocked 2.25 lakh kilometers!! Still running great and very good high speed stability, and decent amount of cabin noises.
@@urh1btherapist716 I get my service done from outside mechanic, there, yearly service can cost anywhere from 4-6k for a 1.3 li Scross. Most probably below 5.5k rupees.
@@harshrana7829 parts availability and reliability sucks bro. This is an imported engine, so parts are extremely expensive, also the engine is sensitive to fuel quality.
Bhai iski handling bilkul xuv300 jaisi h due to less GC but xuv m hydraulic steering aur hard suspension k lye usme cornering ability aur high speed stability (170+) bhut better h, scross is stable till 140-150
Bhai mereko samaj nahi aata tumlog itne speed mein Gaddi chalate kaha ho? Been Driving for 5 years and have never found roads+traffic good enough for these speeds you commentors talk about.
We can't point out s cross and brezza..both are best in safety and maintenance.... leaving these two cars others are simply tin/chocolate cars of Maruthi

I get fuel efficiency of 30+ Kmpl @ not exceeding 80 Kmph with my S Cross 1.3 alfa with single person and with fully loaded 28+ Kmpl with same conditions on highway.

It's the most underrated car from Maruti. Inspite of being well built, Spacious Cabin especially the Rear Seat & the best comfortable Ingress-Egress. Its cabinspace reminds of the legend Ambassador. It lacks in Rear AC vents, Cooled Glove box, wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay & Quality Infotainment & speaker system. Its a Crossover Car or an oversized Hatch with not so good looking rear. If the Co could improve the Rear it would improve Sales nos for sure. Zeta is the most VFM variant according to me. Sirf rear AC vent ki kami hai.

I drove this car today, believe me this one is not underpowered. Once you cross 1500-2000 RPM, the car pulls like crazy. I was afraid that, I would lose control.
Enthusiast toh diesel chalane wale hote hai.. fir woh chahe manual ho ya automatic.. diesel automatic, nisandeh manual se bhi bhayankar performance degi. Aur diesel automatic agar dsg/dct ho toh baat hi aur hai. 😎

The engine was imported and was not retuned as per indian fuel quality. So it has lots of issues and even maruti engineers were not able to solve issues related to it. Plus because it was imported the price was very high too..
@@MihiGT425 never heard this from anyone yet... 1.6 had only one issue...lots of power and lesser mileage than 1.3..there was a little issue with the glow plugs, however maruti fixed that with the next batch of manufacturing. The 1.6 is the same engine that is there in fiat linea , so it was not imported but manufactured by fiat.
Diesel engine ata hi turbo charger ke sath hai uske bina diesel hai hi nhi (pahle tata trucks ate the without turbo but wo 1950- 60 ki baat hai tab army me ate the aur chadai me guuuuu guuuu karte the lakin uske baad turbo engine aa gye )
