I own a Ritz ZDi purchased in 2015. It has all the features of your car, and electrically operated side mirrors. It also has Apple Play for iPhones and iPods. I'm 61, and I recently had to drive 400 km at a stretch (with small breaks) but I didn't feel tired at all. I just love this car!
Drove down from Bangalore to Kolkata during the pandemic in our Ritz. We were a family of four, the only issue we found was for the boot space while coming back, I guess a common problem of a middle class family (packed too many things). I would say it survived the harsh roads and the Highway decently with such a load
Ritz shares a lot of spares with Swift and in terms DZire. Apart from that, lot of internal electrical stuff is shared with many other Maruti models. So spare is very much readily available without any hassle. But there are few odd stuff like ABS sensor or may be some PCM module, which are vehicle specific may force you to wait. In our case, max wait even within lockdown was around a month as it needed to ordered from Maruti central storage !! So if you are getting a good condition Ritz at good price, go with it. Rest assure, spare availability won’t be any issue. Cheers..
@@its--Evander I guess you would most probably get the engine, suspension, clutch and gear shift spare parts quite easily. It's no secret now that the ritz and swift shared a lot of these. Now comes the body parts, its a hit or miss based on many factors but slowly the availability would come down by the 10th year of its discontinuation. Luckily there are many OLA & Uber taxis that are using Ritz, so I hope would get it for the next 7-8 years. I even inquired for a rear bumper and it was available though I haven't changed it
i have ritz zdi 2015. well it was good option over the old ritz but it lacked few features like reverse parking sensors and camera.. bluetooth connectivity and 2 din audio system... drove it close to 50000km in the last 6 years.. i have hardly spent more than 4000 rupees over the last 6 years on its service.. tyres changed once upgraded from jk tyres to bridgestone b250.. i get mileage close to 25 or 26.. highest mileage observed was 28 kmpl.. super power delivery and the best car for ppl who are healthy as we get enough leg space and head room.. once i had to take and go 11 ppl in it.. ik it is not safe but it was an emergency... this car has my heart love out to all ritz owners...
@@shibooster front 3 adults, back 4 adults and 2 children. Removed parcel tray and made 2 children sit in the boot. (**all children were below 15 yrs). I repeat again don't try it unless it's an emergency situation and u have no other option. The space bw tyre and cars body was hardly 3 cm and i touched it 2 times over speed breaker.... :-(
1. Even VXi has fog lamps. Only LXi didn't have. 2. Rear fog lamp do not switch on with the front ones. It has separate control on head light stalk. 3. Yes, I get 12-14 in city (non-aggressive drive) and 18 kmpl on highway in my 2011 VXi
18 kmpl driving with full time AC? I own a 2012 ZXI n I drive mostly 100-120 in the highway wasn't able to milk more than 16 till date n I do drive fast but not rash. Only once I got 18 when I drive less than 80 full time with just 20% AC on. I don't have anyone in my circle who own a ZXI but was always thinking it there was something wrong in mine. I get same as you mentioned in city highway is what I'm concerned with
Ritz car is Suzuki badged Opel Agila car. I was expecting you will cover more about major parts replaced in 10 years. For me I had to replace AC alternator/generator , clutch assembly twice in 1 lakh plus km which I believe is because of poor service by Maruti service person.Another part I feel require replacement is Ac compressor.No need for synthetic oil. Mineral oil is enough , replace every one year.
Hey Paul, I introduced the entire service experience and the replacement of main components from 18:09 in the video. Apart from that A/C Alternator, our Ritz too had similar work as yours. + PMS at every 10k kms (needed A/C gas refilling at around 65/70k kms time) + 2 sets of clutch (last one needed fly wheel replacement) + 2 sets of front disc pads + 1 set of rear drum shoe + 2 battery !! + 1 set of tyre change (present one needs replacement now) + 1 ABS sensor front left Apart from this, nothing else we have done to this car. Yes, sure there are those odd yearly denting painting in bumper or fixing those odd scratches but they are body work, so didn't mention. Talking about engine oil, I felt Shell/Mobil1 type oils with MGO is realy cheap compare to same brands out side oil, so always stayed with fully synthetic !! By the way, nice talking to you. @@LazyTourer I also have ritz VDI 140k chal chuki he. sirf 2 suspension ka kaam hua he abhi tak. and AC gas fill ki. baaki koi issue ni aya. every year bas filters n oil change hota he.
Hi, The Fiat sourced 1.3L MJD diesel, which Maruti calls DDiS has far better mileage figure but Maruti discontinued Ritz when their latest generation light built quality Swift came to the market. So both original & its facelift Ritz didn't lose the heavy built & never gained any better mileage on petrol version. Thanks.

Delhi Petrol cars are only allowed till 15 years so I don't think you should pay such high figures !! Try to bargain since after 15 years you will be forced to scrap the DL petrol cars That leaves you with only 5 years of usage !! Keep that in mind & try to lower the price

Hello, It depends on your usage. 2010 models means it's over 12 years old and if the car condition is not ok, then work will continue to come. Generally speaking, Ritz shares most of its parts with Swift / DZire so engine, suspension, clutch, electricals are same as Swift / DZire. So costs aren't that high Thanks

I am searching for Ritz zxi but the asking price is around ₹3 lakhs for a car that is driven more than 1,00,000+ kms for 2012 model Another car that I had come across is beat petrol LT 2016 model 58000 km single owner driven. Asking price is ₹2.30 lakhs Grand i10 sportz 2014 68,000 kms driven is priced around ₹3.7 lakhs Do let me know your opinion.
@@LazyTourer yeah even I had thought about grand i10 if it could be negotiable for ₹3.25 or ₹3.50 lakhs But another good deal was ford freestyle titanium plus petrol 40,000 kms single owner (doctor) 2018 model but now available with dealer for sale for ₹4.50 lakhs but if it could be negotiated to ₹3.8 or ₹4 lakhs would it be a better deal than grand i10 ? Another good deal was ford figo titanium sports edition 2017 model only genuine 5000 km single owner asking price even after negotiation is ₹4.50 lakhs but if it could be cracked at ₹4.20 lakhs wouldn't it be a good deal ? My running will be minimal like max 200 km/month on an average so preferring only petrol option What are your thoughts.
Hello, Ritz / Beat have higher risk of spare in long term compared to Grand i10 or even Figo platform. Secondly, low kms is not always good.. 5k kms in 6 years is actually harmful for an automotive machine.. Be aware of that & check it well before consider buying. Both, Figo & Freestyle is good option. Far better car than anything in their segment & in my personal experience, I have seen their spare cost or service is cheaper than Maruti !! Thanks.

Hi, Regular maintenance didn't rise, in fact it can't rise since just filter and oil and their prices are same as always Issue is not cost, rather spare. Specifically speaking some off but spares. Panel, lights or engine related stuff is available but odd spares like some sensors (ABS may be, PCM or something) are getting increasingly hard to come by. Odd body parts, like interior trims or like Wiper Washer tank and so on.. You get the point right? Anything which is shared with newer in production models are easily available but this model specific spares are getting increasingly tough to source. This spare related issue will continue to get worse so it is not a wise decision to select this model as option when you have Grand i10 / Figo platform as alternative in your selection option range. It was quite astonishing before year 2000 to find perfectly fine cars clocking more than a lakh kms but specially with Fiat MJD & Morden roads, post 2000 cars, specially 2005 onwards, cars are now expected to be just fine & with proper maintaining, good as new even after clocking 1 lakh kms. Our Santro Xing (which we have reviewed in this channel) is now nearing 2 lakh kms. Just unbelievable reliability with simple regular normal maintenance!!
No enginee work done !! We have sold the car @ 1.35L kms !! Maruti Service center certified the engine to be in absolutely ok condition. At the time of selling, only thing needed was Tyre change, baki sab baria thi gari main Bechte nahi hum, par choti gari ke hisab se mileage pareshan kar rahi thi.
Why not? If you get one with proper service history, then consider it. Usually Petrol Ritz are available at around 1 to 1.5L range & low running Diesel Ritz are around 2-2.5 Lakhs depending on condition

Wagon R K12 VXi around 5.50-5.75 lakh Grand i10 NIOS Magna around 6.5 Lakhs apko kya pasand hain ya kya requirement hain ?? Broken roads ki agar baat hain toh choti SUV jo hain, Venue ya fir EcoSports. option toh bahut hain.
Some times the back number plate rattles, we needed to place some dual side tape to silence it. Once a 4/5 years, you may need to open up the door pads to dampen it. This is common in any car. Nothing Ritz specific
Not true. If you notice, in our channel, we have other cars with us & within family. I agree, with Maruti it happens more than hyundai but no matter what, even Mercedes too will rattle More than car, it depends on your usage or abuse !! Pyar se chalao to ek story, aur agar dabake chalao to koi v rattle karegi !!
There is tax to be paid in 2021 if it's not on life time tax. In case tax is not paid, so I guess around 1.3/1.4 lakhs. If the tax is paid, you may extend up to 1.7/1.75 lakhs. However check with any Maruti service center for its service history before buying
