Welcome back to Varun's Garage! Today, we're upgrading the horn on a Swift with the Hella Midnight Black Dual Tone Horn. Follow along, and let's get started!
Tools and Materials Needed:
Hella Midnight Black Dual Tone Horn
Socket wrench set
Screwdriver set
Electrical tape
Wire connectors
Zip ties
Vehicle manual (for reference)
Safety gloves
Multimeter (optional)
Step-by-Step Guide:
Step 1: Safety First
Park your car on a flat surface.
Turn off the ignition and remove the key.
Disconnect the negative terminal of the car battery to prevent any electrical mishaps.
Step 2: Locate the Existing Horn
Refer to your Swift's manual to locate the horn. Typically, it's behind the front bumper or grille.
Step 3: Remove the Old Horn
Use the socket wrench to remove the bolts securing the old horn.
Disconnect the electrical connectors from the old horn. Note the positive and negative terminals.

Step 4: Install the New Hella Horn
Mount the new Hella horn in the same location. Use provided brackets if necessary.
Connect the electrical wires to the new horn. If connectors don't match, use wire connectors. Ensure correct terminal connections.

Reconnect the negative terminal of the car battery.
Turn on the ignition and test the horn. It should produce a loud, clear sound.
