Extremely helpful video but missing XUV300 Turbo Sports. According to me it's a nice competitor for VW / Skoda / Hyundai and it can dominate the overall segment.

Although Taigun and kushaq can't fit 3 adults properly at the rear seat but it is also true that these two are the most comfortable four seater cars among all of them.
@@varunjyoti123 yes bro...kushaq gives you good milege in highways but very bad in city traffics. Car is topclass in stability, safety and driving. But if you cannot keep the vehicle in 6th gear it will drop milege and tear our pocket. Still not a good option for middle class. If you are financially stable and not bothered about money spent for petrol you can go for kushaq. If your drives are mostly in highways where you dont need to drive in lower gears then it will give milege like 18-21. If you have to reduce speed and mostly drives in 3rd,4th n 5th then milege will drops to 11

Taigun 1.0 AT Anniversary Edition owner here and I love it. Power is more than sufficient for the most part and you'd only feel the need for more when trying to make a quick high speed overtake.
I never liked any Maruti recently for their design .. but I am changing my opinion for their Grand Vitarra. It looks phenomenal in real life, to say the least. It looks even better than the Hyryder. Interior too looks nice. It would be a champion in remote / small towns where there is only reach of Maruti / Hyundai due to their service network.
@@rankerspreplearning1909 both worked in corporation the mild hybrid engine is suzuki's and strong hybrid is of toyota, dono ne sath me banayi hai kisine copy nahi kri h
I have driven alll the cars in the list and the best one's are Kushaq & Taigun. And trust me TAIGUN is the best ! Have been using since 1.5 years and pretty happy owner in all cases. I even got a mileage of 22.5 KMPH on highways.
This series/comparison is the best thing I see on RU-vid. Thanks MotorOctane for this type of comparisons. Note: I am watching this with literally no money but working hard to buy one of these some day.
Bro I'm thinking to go for Kushaq, is it actually worth considering compare to Taigun or Creta or Venue ? Any suggestions or hard facts u know about Kushaq ?
@@legion206 Go for it. Build and ride quality are the best in its segment. It has become an instant head turner ever since its safety ratings have come out.
Motoroctane team in their expert call recommended me to buy Skoda Kushaq. I followed their advise though had read negative reviews of Kushaq too along with positives. I own a kushaq stile 1.0 AT now and I am blown away by the way this car handles coming from a Maruti. I also had a very very minor accident of sorts when a biker came from wrong side and hit my bumper. Not a mark was left there. Thank you Motoroctane team for recommending this superb machine.
@@ayush885 Hi....50 days. No issue with ac cooling but works best I auto mode. All turbo engines have turbo lag....so unlike a manual car with naturally aspirated engines the power delivery comes when the RPM crosses 2000. So in a slow metro city traffic if you suddenly need to overtake a car rapidly it will give you 10s lag. But at speed of 40 ish it will give you great power without lag. I use the sports mode sometimes to move fast. Doesn't feel underpowered....even in the hills.
Hyryder (full Hybrid) - simply awesome❤. Looks, reliability, mileage and ride. I own one and really satisfied with it. Rear seat is not that cramped nor is Creta too spacious at rear. Hyryder feels sophisticated and luxurious to ride. Kushaq is undoubtedly one of the most attractive package as well. All cars are good in their own terms and Rachit is right in saying that ultimately it all boils down to individual choice.
@@OnCloud9Me How long have you had it? There's only one concern I have about the G variant, it has a sunroof, and the sunroof blind is extremely thin. Does it bother you?
I purchased Hyryder V Hybrid variant Cafe White colour. Good simple looks, excellent eCVT Toyota engine and very smooth to drive and good comfort to rear passengers. Getting 26+ kms after driving 1200 kms!!
@@ayush885 No issues with sunroof. Its thin fabric which easly prevents UV rays and reflects heat back. I have tested it by driving in the afternoon in hot sun. Go ahead and buy it!!
@@DrViper007 still better than K15 or any other NA engine and drive quality of VW >>>>>>>> Korean's , also 5 stars safety . Lastly 1 litre 3 cylinder turbo = 1.6 NA
Thanks! Rachit and MotorOctane. After watching your Maha comparisons of all the mid segment SUVs repeatedly I was finally convinced as to what I needed the most and bought the Grand Vitara Hybrid. Thanks once again.
Definately my personal choice is 1. German build, VW Taigun for smooth ride and Kushaq for stiff ride in Highways, Overall for Fun to Drivers car with best build quality and safety. 2. Creta and Seltos are best for their diesel choice and interior specs and looks, 3. Grand vitara and Toyota Hyryder for those who looks for low maintenance and smooth ride and mileage of Hybrid, and not for those who looks powerful engine. 4. MG Astor is typically a different from all these, they gave different look and specs with ADAS only in this segment, but apart from turbo engine Normal engine is so laggy, and worst ever mileage,
I have Grand Vitara hybrid and it has more than enough boot space with all the features except Adas, 2nd row seating is also spacious (I am 6ft and head room is good enough) , overall very happy with the car and mileage is excellent (28 right now)
bro headroom is sufficient? i am 6 1 and my head stuck in the back in the alpha model..rear seats are not comfortable at all..my dad's 7yr old scross 1.6 has similar seats..not demeaning your car bro..the hybrid tech is super awesome
After 2 months of analysis and multiple test drives, I bought Kushaq 1.0 ltr AT. 2 weeks, 1000+ kms and I am loving it. Only one missing feature is wireless Android auto.
Got myself a Taigun after giving all of these a go. Not a shred of regret. Incredible handling, roadholding and zip. Mine is 1.0 l automatic. Kushaq was similar, but I loved the Taigun's suspension more. Great comparo here Rachit.
@@virtue376 excellent, mileage 16-18 on highway. Drove 7.5km never felt any issue till now. Recently did Bangalore to Goa. I love to drive this car. No body roll, very planted car on high speed. I have highline AT version

Need to agree that Grand Vitara looks dope in reality..Saw that on road in Nexa blue colour and seriously it's a gorgeous looking car...A big looking car with lots of road presence. 🔥🔥
@@Mgking107 Nothing inside !! I hope you understand the difference between bit more/less and Nothing !!! We might be a fan of different brand, but please don't discredit a good machine.
I'm a constant short distance traveller and everything is a short distance here in Goa. My pick would be the Grand Vitara Strong Hybrid, especially for the constant low speed driving situations that constantly occur randomly.
While i agree that Creta top model is a very enticing choice, if you compare mid or low models i am sure creta will come in dead last. Astor will steal the show there.
Great Work team Motoroctane You people really covered all the points a buyer needs while deciding a car. And Rachit has always been able to explain all the points in a very clear and easy way
I chose Seltos in this Maha Comparison mainly due to price advantages , Seltos came to me at 18.2 HTX IVT in bengaluru all others crossed 22 L in premium IVT or DCT + sunroof offerings.
I think Astor was underrated by everyone...He told that brezza and grand vitara are on same platform, so grand will also get 4 star rating but not mentioned that astor is sharing same 5 star global rating zs ev platform...also ground clearance of astor is 210mm...I think MG ASTOR basic model is the best value for money between all these
that means astor gets 9-10 kmpl where as kia gets 11-12kmpl in city plus i have gotten way more than the arai claim i have gotten 18kmpl on highway and 11-12 in city by keeping it under 2000 rpm
Your reviews are very good in the language of the common man being in truck manufacturing for 15 yrs . I have done thread bare analysis for 1.5 yrs on these cars and bought 1 tsi kushaq style in dec2022 and my experience matches with yours. 👌👍but don't agree with creta being best as safety should come first which is poor in that case.

Overall a good exhaustive video... but I disagree wrt the noise insulation in MG Astor.. it's much better than what you have shared, also 1.5 CVT is slightly less on power but what u mentioned is an exaggeration.... even for fully loaded the power is completely sufficient even on steep inclines, fully loaded... I hav been driving it since a year and lots of hilly trips and didn't notice the lack of power anytime
I have taken test ride and that was also on full 5 adult passengers load. I did not feel a slight lag while takling a steep hill situation. And untill we open a window didn't hear unusual sound inside the cabin. Even the horn sound very soft with all windows closed. I guess everyone gonna love it unless a influencer give negative rep to it ...
It's not only indepth comparison but the way you present the video, ur comparo videos r like a Sunday weekend entertainment program, like it's used to be in old TV days, when ppl used to wait whole week for the new episode on Sunday morning
We like kusaq and taigun but worried about dealer network and service support and also resale value... that's why for my budget 12 to 13 lakh on road I feel grand vitara is descent choice .....what u feel motoroctane plz help
MG Astor has excellent build quality and you can feel it when you sit in it or drive it. Wheel noise and insulation is definitely better than the Kushaq. The 1.3 litre has more than enough performance on the highway. Even Innovas find it difficult to keep up with the Astor 1.3 Turbo. The car needs some tweeking and some improvements but its the most underrated car here.

I know Harrier is not included in this comparison and it's top variant price is also little bit higher than these but even that I wanna go with Harrier cause it won my heart and it's road presence is awesome and i know that in features Harrier cannot beat some of them from these but still it is 🔥
in case of practicality taigun and kushaq is king , weather it's driving dynamics , power, fun to drive safety, paint quality, although it has got 2 disc brake but still it has got good bracking than 4 disc brake in other brand.
@@chetankumar602 hands down creta diesel auto anytime..hyryder only if you want that hybrid engine for mileage..creta's diesel auto gives 19-21 on mixed usage
@Chetan Kumar if petrol manual is what you need then go for hyryder..same power , better efficiency..take test drives of both..creta's turbo petrol is better but it comes in automatic only..so not an option
Great work, quite comprehensive… another spect that can be covered is the rattling… straight off the showroom all cars feel good but over a period of time in some cars much sooner than the others you start hearing all kind of rattles … that talks a lot about the fit and build quality!
They were completely biased towards creta before gncap. If you see creta vs seltos these people gave door thud 9/10 for creta but in this video they only gave 7/10. Well done motoroctane!!!!!
I really don't know how I missed this video when i was searching for the very exact comparison - thank you so much for such a wonderful maha comparison - helped me a lot
Man who does this kind of detailed review about such not-so-minor things, the answer is Motor Octane, undoubtedly!!🔥 The most practical and detailed technical review ever watched!! Very helpful for the buyers!❤
Great comparo, Rachit. However, you seem to be biased with the 3* Creta...You have not considered GC as a parameter in your tests. You have excluded FE as a parameter in your tests and the fact that the GV / UCH have same sized spare tyres. You never mentioned that the HUD is only available in the GV / UCH top end versions. Please be a little more honest when putting out an opinion to the public. BTW, why does the Astor have an orange coloured fuel sticker when there are no diesel options available ?
Hey Sandeep 1. We have clearly mentioned no car is perfect for anyone. 2. We have mentioned about Cretas safety and even that lower trims have absolutely no features also. 3. GC is mentioned 4. Even mileage is shown You haven’t seen the entire video with complete focus
@@motoroctane 1. Well, I meant that GC has just been mentioned, not evaluated as a parameter. Not considered for declaring a topper. 2. No reply on the HUD as a USP shows no focus on that unique feature. 3. No reply either on the orange fuel sticker on the Astor. These are enough to show my focus on the coverage..
@@vimalkhandelwal5456 I'd not put my money on any MG car. ASS is doubtful, the "features" that the brochures tempt one to consider it are mostly useless. Consider attributes such as reliability, FE, yearly maintenance costs, cost and availability of spares / support to make an informed decision. I'd go with the Maruti GV or Hyryder if I were you.

The Rohit's review is very authentic and genuine. I really appreciate his and the team's hard work in bringing down the important aspects of the car. Since I have been driving Kushaq for around 1 year, I can say that it has very unique and good handling, power, suspension, breaking , sound system, and safety features. The only thing that Skoda needs to improve is service center quality. Rest Kushaq is just great. One can feel very confident while driving the car on hills.

At the end of the day safety matters above all. I am glad that the south asian market is slowly recognizing safety as a major barometer. Therefore, I am a bit disappointed that Creta was highlighted as the complete package. However, this is the most comprehensive review I have ever seen. Kudos to Motor Octane !
