Part of the reasons why I love TMNT and, probably a bit controversial, Meg 2, is that I don’t feel like I was taking some kind of lesson in the theater. Filmmakers nowadays seem to mistaken making “meaningful” movies with making movies that “preach.” I don’t mind having some deep philosophical discussions with others but I don’t expect to spend 15+ bucks to be preached EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

I'm the same way with the movie 'The Meteor Man (1993)'. I LOVE that movie!!! It's one of my all time favorites with a GREAT cast. It's a Black man with Superman-like powers but they made the movie VERY original and made it their own without taking from something else. I recommend it.

Hopefully with the acquisition of Fox we will start getting decent Marvel movies again. I am looking forward to Daredevil, X-men, Fantastic 4, and all the team ups they can now do, with characters already established in the MCU. Hopefully we get those sooner rather than later.

Lol! Hell no! DC doesn't even have a Justice League! MCU doesn't have their core Avengers. You want a B listers v B listers then sure... But Marvel v DC has to be a 2 or 3 part self contained elseworld story without any prequel or sequel or spinoffs making them the event films that none of these franchises have anymore.

I think it is superhero fatigue. There’s still a big market for A+ superhero movies. Batman, Spiderman, Deadpool big exciting characters. But no one’s lining up for d-list like Blue Beetle, Antman, Marvels ETC.

I have not watched a newer MCU movie since Thor Love and Thunder.. after black widow, and eternals with shang chi and SM no way home as little saving graces (yes SM was great), thor really just broke it for me... havent spent a dime on a marvel movie in the theaters

@@rybackfrankie8679 i get it was suppose to be a "fun" movie and sure it was goofy, dum, and "fun".... but after something as serios as the infinity saga ends, sure u can keep some humer but like come on.. they kicked it off great with wanda vision and loki... falcon and winter soldure was good but black widow and on... it fell down hard with each movie while shang chi, sm, and I guess guardians 3 helping (heard it was good idk havent seen it personally because im tired of marvel)
