Yes her and Rogue, ironically some of the more lackluster heroes, got a huge boost with these cards.

@@NelsonAllOverCards would be cool to see a game trying to maximize gambits royal flush, i can think of two more, play against venom, and have the monomania mod set ( I think it’s western) that increases damage by 1.. that takes us up to 27 damage lol

@@NelsonAllOverCards As excited as I am for Iceman, I'm also really excited for the Aggression cards. That PSS is definitely going into my Angel Aggression deck. And Shark-Girl gives me a reason to actually run the minion nerf attachments that I never use. But I absolutely can't wait to try out Iceman with Protection. I think he'll be one of the better heroes to build a deck around to prevent damage for a multiplayer table.

Nice! Yea I am hoping that we get to see some thwarting events in his kit, that seems to be the one I am most concerned about! You sure can! You can choose how to resolve those interrupt abilities! I do believe you are correct about the defense fact!

Really good point! HOpefully the rest of the cards we havent seen yet are a bit cheaper! Yep! I cant wait to see how he plays in Green, probably my most anticipated aspect for him!

@@NelsonAllOverCards So I did a little research. It looks like the inspiration for the cards in this set come from 15 issues that ran from 2008-2012. Specifically X-Men Legacy issues 260.1 to 275, when the series ended. It's possible these were the only art examples Caleb and crew were given for this project. It's unfortunate to have such an awful design phase from Iceman's history be immortalized in our great game. I'm hoping that's the case and they simply didn't have access to the thousands and thousands of other books that never feature this design. bleh.

I think what we meant by stack is that the effect stacks, so if you have two frost bites they are at a -2/-2 rather than a -1/-1, hope that makes sense!

Eh I think they have done a great job building a community around core games. So they are focusing their efforts there rather than trying to pump out a ton of other games. I am their target audience - I would much much rather have this expansion than a new game. I love the fact they are repackaging their older content to make it more ecologically and economical viable. I doubt they will collapse, I see them moving more towards these community focused games (which seems to be doing very well for them) and letting the rest of the rapidly expanding industry take over creating a plethora of new games. What is great about our industry expanding is that we can have both types of companies, FFG which makes me super happy, and so many others that fit your purchasing style! As for talent, I completely disagree, they have such a solid design team and I would argue that it is harder to come up with fresh ideas, like this expansion, every other month for a 5 year old game rather than a new game 4 times a year. And who knows, we may get lucky and get another game similar to these in the future!

@@NelsonAllOverCards if you love what they’re putting out great. For me the company isn’t the same anymore. They made heaps of games in the past but most of those are now dead and buried. Guess I got sick of continually forking out money for these type of games just to get a better experience. I’ve got plenty of those LCG’s Game of Thrones , Netrunner, Legend of Five Rings, Arkham Horror, Call of Cthulhu. All but one of those is dead. We’ll have to agree to disagree.

@@warpaint9385 Yea I think they have really hit a stride with the coop LCGs, which is what I love, sorry you have been burned in the past! Hope they were fun for you while they lasted! 🙂

@@NelsonAllOverCards wouldn’t really say “been burned” except for Heroes of Terrinoth which they dropped. I just got to a point where I was like “nah! Enough of buying these expansions, cost too much and it seems like it’s never ending”. Reason I say they’ll be gone is once they’ve flogged Arkham Horror, Lotr and Marvel Champions for as long as they can, where next? They’re going to have to come up with new stuff eventually.

@@warpaint9385 I’m hoping, and guessing, they will move to a new coop LCG, hopefully the secret project MJ is working on is something in that realm, then I hope we some day get a Star Wars coop LCG, until then I’m going to dive head first into Star Wars Unlimited!

I think the frostbite will help significantly with the ability to go down to AE! Also his upgrade will bump him up to 2 thwart. But totally agree, I think that will be his biggest struggle!
