It could be a factor of both. MCU movies used to be events. Then it became almost a necessity to watch them because if you don’t then you might miss something that would be a big deal in a future movie. It almost became a chore. Add to that the agenda that they’re pushing mixed in with storylines and plots that aren’t exactly eye-catching, it became mundane to watch.

How casually they insult and ruin art and creations that people (e.g. Stan Lee, Jack Kirby) have dedicated their entire lives too while losing so many fans of the genre and comics is an absolute disgrace and I am so glad it backfires on them.
You can very simply sum up why Disney has been getting worse and worse over the years: This is the result of a billion dollar business being staffed and ran by people who were hired based on a diversity quota and a focus on pushing politics everywhere, instead of hiring on merit, and a goal of entertaining and making the most money possible. Things will change. In the end their practices don't match what a company like them NEEDS to continue operation. The degree of change I think will be the minimum required to be successful again.

Plenty of good movies out there if you are willing to not watch Comic book rubbish! I have never really been a fan of the MCU or DC outside of a handful of films ( Batman 89 , Superman 78 , The first Captain America was ok , the first Iron man was fine......the rest I just think are " Muh" ) Get into some Horror , some great TV shows to watch, watch the 100 greatest movies list honestly this MCU shit is the McDonald's of Cinema , fine if you are hungry enough but doesn't have any real substance.

I never understood how/why a company would hire someone who has never read, or even states a hate for comics to lead a comic based movie. Has anyone heard about the financial games that may have been going on at Disney. It's probably the reason Chaepek was fired sunday night. So he couldn't learn about it monday morning. Only Midnights Edge Live Archives has spoken about this and neither Nerdrotic nor Doomcock has mentioned this ( If either one has, I missed the vid and I apologize ). This is huge. It explains alot of the actions at Disney, and if Iger losses control, could bring down not just Iger, but alot of the board also. The worst thing isn’t the bad writing , the disrespect, not even the shitting on the fans. It’s the damage to our young people that were exposed to this garbage.
The self inflicted damage has been so unnecessary. It’s not as though making all these movies more woke has made certain minority groups happier- nor has it helped ‘break down barriers’. The only thing it’s done is reduce viewership of large swathes of content. From Marvel to the Buzz Lightyear movie, they have done untold damage for no real reason. Everyone of every background went to see their stuff in the past, now there’s stuff nobody wants to watch.

I know I posted earlier but, I have another question. It is about "love and Thunder" I will admit I have not seen the movie, the previews were enough for me. Now the question. In the previews there is a scene where Thor is being held captive in what appears to be a stadium, and ALL of his clothes are magically removed. Did this scene make it into the movie? If so, what would have been the reaction of the woke mob if this happened to a female character?

Dr strange 2 was my last marvel movie. I watched endgame, skipped a few movies, then tried to go back to dr strange 2 because I liked the first one. It was kinda sucking, then I got to the 2 moms part. That was it for me. Turned it off and I was done with marvel for good. And yes, I’m giving it up for good. I gave up watching sports for good and I used to be a huge football fan. Haven’t watched a game in over 2 years.
