Compared to most of Marvel Legends this Carnage has really good range on his neck balljoint. They actually put the ball in the right spot to get that range. I wish they'd start doing this with every figure. The rest of it is good too but that point of articulation stuck out to me. I like the Venom movies for what they are and was entertained by both, but they really needed to up the screen time of Carnage and Venom. Still as a Carnage variant this is a great figure. Hell you can even use it as a Tyrant/Licker/Crimson Head in a zombie or RE display so I was more than happy to pick it up.
I love the articulation on this. Hasbro did excellent with the release. Just need a bit more paint by otherwise... you said it best. It's a cool fucking toy. 😎 and nice review man
Just got him yesterday. Kool figure. TALL, but it can work if we don't want to spend the extra $ lol. Great review luke always. Till next review. Stay safe out there.
I wonder if we'll ever get a standard 6" Carnage with some bendy tentacles? In the Super Nintendo game, I have a memory of Carnage jumping in on screen, attacking with punches, maybe kicks, but definitely some strikes from his three fat tentacles on his back. Would be a cool mod to get these attached to a 6" Carnage figure. No longer weak to sound!? What about the Guyver's sonic buster orbs? They can still damage other stuff not weak to sound. That was an idea I had. To have Guyver defeating Venom and Carnage with his sonic buster waves.
Came here because I was looking at mine and thought to do that same. Swapped the feet and the shape looks great in neutral pose but I think the support in dynamic poses suffers, like the shape doesn’t looks right when in a wider stance… not sure if I want to keep it this way
And some tones/shading to make red look less cheap and more movie accurate... And a less "dirty" black paint in front. Basically repaint the whole figure.
It seems a lot of collectors aren't acknowledging the absolute SHITSHOW that us the paint job for this figure, which is weird since they nitpicking every little off speck with everything else. Like, are they paid off or something? Is just crazy that no one seems to care about this. I mean, it's so blatantly obvious hoe bad the paint job is. Sure it's a good figure on its own, but if they're just going to dodge the paint like that, then something needs to change.
How is it better than the SHF? In what way is it better? Sure isn’t the paint, articulation, accessories, or proportions. Is it the price that makes you think that? Genuine questions no hate btw
