Not gonna lie this captures Florence Pugh face a whole lot better then the first one, some people don’t like it kinda confuses me ig but she’s a cool one!
10:28 Yelena's legs are a mix of that Black Widow's upper legs with the previous Yelena's lower legs. She's definitely too tall. Scarlett is 5'3" and Florence is 5'4". She's as tall as 5'8" Hailee. The problem is they gave her flat boots. The extra height would've made sense with heeled boots.
Yeah I also think Kate and Clint were a tad too big in their release so Yelena’s release under the same title also had to scale with bigger with those two
I agree the night vision head sculpt would have been amazing. I might be able to recreate that with the fodder I have. Yelena beats up Clint with her batons in the ice ring. They may have been bigger. That head with braid looks great! Now to find a soft goods green dinner jacket. Hawkeye is a holiday classic I will watch each year like The Grinch, Charlie Brown Christmas, A Christmas Story, It’s a Wonderful Life, and Muppets Christmas Carol to name a few. It’s really good. Tracksuit Mafia figure distribution still ticks me off. I have a preorder still open with Target…never to be filled. Stupid Target! I look forward to getting Fisk and Yelena. Make up for Target’s stupidity Hasbro and release green track suit with standard track suit thug two pack. Target is just the worst.
Well, this is my 3rd and last Yelana that I will need. I headswapped the previous one on the all white Black Widow body so that she would match Scarlet better, and I personally think that she looked better on the all white body.
Two things I’ve been reminded of while watching your reviews of this wave: 1) The first few Disney + MCU series (Wandavision, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Hawkeye (my personal favorite) and Loki) were REALLY good. 2) Hasbro can still kick some serious ass when they put their minds to it. Unfortunately, I think this wave will be largely dismissed simply because fans have soured on Hasbro, the MCU, and Disney in general, and that’s a shame. I know I was ready to dismiss it before I started watching your reviews. I’m glad you were the first major You Tube review channel to have these in hand.
Good review. Interesting to compare it to Kyle Peterson's, because his Yelena had an issue with the arm joints having some extended plastic, but I dont see that here or on IG. Good to have more data.
This does not appear to be a re-use of legs from previous Yelena Belova figures that were just painted black; instead, it appears to be a re-use of leg designs. I say this because if you look at the legs of the new Yelena figure, you can see that it's thinner and longer than the previous one, but in terms of design, the boots and knee pads remain the same design as the previous one, such as the lines on the legs and the boots.
Next to Kingpin, Yelena is probably my most anticipated figure from this wave. I might try giving her one of the belts/holsters from one of the Black Widow movie figures I have.
Yeah, this one is getting bought. I only get a select few Legends figures and only based on the MCU, because they look like they can be used with my Classified Joes and this one fits right in. I'll provide the guns myself from my Joe surplus.
