This is a very thorough discussion and excellent presentation, but left out 2 key features - 1 - The Kree (and the Skrulls) are evolutionary "frozen", and have been for thousands of years... humans are evolving, which is why the Kree were interested in our planet 2 - The Inhumans maintain an entire species of humanity as slaves, and have kept them there, for (at least) 4 thousand years... check out the Alpha Primitives... they have Stockholm Syndrome so bad that, even when freed, they continue to live underground working the same slave jobs that they have for generations.
This video was very informative and well appreciated. Thanks so much for the breakdowns and explanations. I'm very excited for what Agents of Shield will do with them and then other movies involving the Kree!
The Black Panther would be great for next Monday, definitely one of my most favorite heroes. Some other suggestions to maybe kick around could be Silver Surfer, Luke Cage/Iron Fist, the Punisher
i already had a small knowledge of the kree but this video explains so much on the marvel agents of shield!!! the inhumans are def interesting and so are the kree tech. i mean they took the human race and pretty much evolve us to what we were eventually naturally going to be!!
Wow. My fave new you tube channel. I read practically all these books when i was you. Your presentations are articulate and precise as much as they are entertaining. I' in the hospital now and plan to watch a bunch of them tonight. Thanks so much. BTW: i just turned 60 on the 6th of January. So you can imagine how much i dig the movies. I've been waiting like all my life..
I would love to explain that but there would be sooooo much ground to cover. Off the top of my head, we'd have to cover Decimation, The Messiah Complex, The Messiah War, The Lights, Blaquesmith, Emma Frost, Magik, Secret Avengers, Hope Summers and so on.
May I just say I love this particular type of intro you do,it's just INCREDIBLE! And and a truly AWESOME lead up to get into the topic of discussion. Also how hard are these intros to make.
I've been out of the comic realm for sooo long that now I feel like that 8 year old kid again with my first comic book. I've just started reading about the "Inhumans" and I thoroughly enjoy their presence in the Marvel world. Yes, I agree they should take more of a primary role instead of living on the outskirts of Marvel town. Your explanation of them was thorough, informative and caught me up to speed with their history. Interesting, to say the least, you opened with the scene of the issue I just started reading today of the "Inhumans." TY again will subscribe!
Inhumans should be written in as the ancestors of the mutants on Earth. Thus you could say many years ago a few Inhumans traveled to Earth and impregnated human women and subsequently dawned the age of mutants. Being Apocalypse's father was the first to do so.
Man, so glad I found this channel. I'm an old timer that enjoys seeing these origin vids from back in the day and (some of) the directions that comics have taken in recent years. Can you do a vid on the Micronauts, another forgotten title that was excellent.
This thought came to me while watching Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. We are watching the rebirth of the Inhumans there. The device is there is Kree, the Inhumans look human until the tarrogen (sp) mists, and Reyna's now changed appearence. They are setting up for the upcoming movie.
Great video. I only have vague impressions of The Inhumans from back in my main reading days so after this week's Agents of Shield I did a RU-vid search.
Another outstanding video! I Just picked up the new Inhuman comic #1 and thought it was AWESOME. I had never even heard of this group before, so I was very excited about this video. Keep up all the great work, and lets go Deadpool!!!
Very insightful, first i heard of them and decided to look them up. Very easy to follow and understand your explanation of their background from this review
I know this may seem semantic, but I just wanted to point out a minor error; homo sapiens didn't evolve from Homo Neanderthalis, & Cro-Magnon is a term which was mistakenly given to Neanderthals when we still believed we evolved from them. In fact, humans & Neanderthals evolved independently from a common ancestor; homo heidelbergensis.
I would like to see videos about the most important history arcs/spin-offs, like: The Civil War, Secret War, Onslaught Saga etc. btw your vids are great :)
U should do like a series of making teams up like u chose characters from whatever universe(either both marvel or dc or separate them) make them from the same teams or integrate teams like u choose members from X-men, solo heroes or whatever and make them a team…and u could do heroes to , or villains or combine them….then put them up against someone or give them a scenario or even without putting them agains someone or give them a scenario..explain ur team like why u have the members u have, how they benefit eac other, the mission, team name , etc…
There may be a non exposed Inhuman on the Agents of Shield TV show already...The alien in the Tank, someones parentage not being known, the Kree blood serum working like a charm. *smile* What will she become?
I was thinking about the Mutants relationship to Inhumans. Would it be possible that the mutants are evolved from Inhumans? Over time they evolved to not need the crystals to transform but rather go through a transformation on their own. It would tie them together and explain a lot more. Just theory.
+Richelle Russo I doubt it. In recent events in the comics, we've seen the effects of the terrigen mist on mutants ie. they develop a severe allergic reaction and die from it. Which leads me to believe that the current mutants came from normal humans who have no alien genes. But I still think that there may be special mutants that came from the Inhumans, eg. Black Bolt as proposed by the video, whom I believe do not have adverse reactions to the terrigen mist.
1) children of the vault are very similar and you should do a story on them 2) given black bolts ability he could have stopped not just physical threats like apocalypse but he could have stopped ultron too
If the marvel film universe wanted to introduce the in humans correctly, they should do a brief introduction through the next guardians of the galaxy movie. I've been a huge fan of the in humans since I was a kid, I hope they don't mess this up
i think what you forget, and something very important is that Black Bolt is a member from the ILLUMINATI, and that´s a plus for the character, because Marvel Understand that this one is a very important guy
In Guardians of the Galaxy, when they scan Peter Quill, they say his genetic makeup is not entirely Human, but also something 'very old'. We all know that in the comics, his father is J'Son of the Spartax Empire. But I doubt Marvel will want to bring that into the picture as it would only add more confusion. What if Peter is partly of Inhuman descent? What if his father, being described by his mother as 'An angel, made of pure light', was actually Inhuman? That would tie in pretty nicely to a setup for the Inhumans. And seeing as the Infinity Stone of Power was discovered by the GotG and still needs to be united with the Earth-based Stones, it wouldn't be surprising if we saw the GotG uniting with The Avengers/current MCU Earth roster, bringing the Inhumans storyline from GotG to Earth. Think about it.
She's overlooked like crazy but crystal ( blackbolts daughter I think) has one of the best super powers ever. She can control all of the elements. not just one like the human torch or storm/ That's pretty dope.
It is highly said that Adam Warlock is one of the most powerful Marvel Characters ever, and he will most likely have a big affect on defeating Thanos will all the other superheroes in Avengers 3 Infinity War Part 1 or 2. If you know in the Comics Adam Warlock is trapped in a cocoon. If you noticed in The Guardians of the Galaxy Movie the Collecter had a collection of things, one of them was a cocoon! After that pink alien chick harnessed the power of that purple Gem think it is Soul Gem she exploded and there was a concussive blast. But after that blast the cocoon cracked, guys it cracked! So whatever was in that Cocoon escaped and is somewhere in the Marvel Universe! And we all know it has to be Adam Warlock out there in the MCU!
First time I saw Inhumans was in Onslaught stories and it was only for maybe about 4 or 6 panels worth of stuff where Blackbolt used his power and after that I have no idea what happens because the editors in my country cutted and raped all the comics by deleting pages of the story, not just one or two pages, but dozens :D
Why do you say Black Bolt and InHumans Suck in another video ? But in this video your talking very highly of the characters 🤔 I just want to get a better understanding of why the sudden switch up in latter videos . I love the show though I Get all of my comic book knowledge from your channel GOOD 👍 WORK BRO
I'm thinking the Inhumans will be introduced as a separate group of species with their own timeline. I would like for them to be portrayed as regular people (minus the corny costumes/spandex) with unique powers who live amongst each other on their planet. I wouldn't want them being portrayed as another group of superheros, similar to X-Men/Avengers, this would be too cliche in my opinion. Since superhero movies are becoming the "in-thing" for box offices, we need something different. In other words something similar to Guardians of the Galaxy but not conflicting if that makes sense.
Thomas Raines We don't know. They haven't metioned the royale family or named amy of them. They could in season 3 but we'll have to see. In my opinion they'll introduce it in the movie when it comes out.
Thomas Raines I'm thinking they are looking to setting Licoln as Blackbolt. He doesn't have the key voice power, but he does have the ability to control electrons to the point of flight. I know in comics it's not a rare thing to have and they could always just write a new character. But they've hinted that he'll have a big role next season. So I'd say it's a likely bet.
Didn't they remake the Beyonder's past so that he was an Inhuman who, when introduced to the mists, gained his godlike powers and erased his existence from everyones minds?
But if Black bolt is also very powerful then I think he should be there to defeat Thanos. That is if the Inhumans Movie or Black bolt comes before Avengers 3 Part 1 and 2 come out.
What should I read if I know nothing about the inhumans and want to be introduced to them if possible I'd like to follow black bolt's story if they have issues for him only like they do for each member of the avengers.
I think it would be cool to put the inhumans at the end or fight the gaurdians of the galaxy in the second movie but ronan is dead so maybe he made them or if they will have a different back story
Toxin! The symbiote, I would love to know his full origin story. Please consider him for a future video I really enjoyed Venom and Carnage's stories. :D
I liked how the Inhumans were before they became a new flavor of mutants to side step copywrite. As an isolationist hidden city state, ON THE MOON, they didn’t need earth but some wanted to live as they chose outside of their strict caste system. A unique culture, monarchy, and alien origins... marvel messed them up good.
Yeah. Luckily, since Marvel got the Mutants back, this should stop and the two groups can be separate again. I love the Inhumans for all the reasons you described - they were never meant to be Mutant replacements.
Would be kind of cool if The Inhumans did have a movie. My main objection would be Disney's interference with marvel studios.I haven't seen GOTG movie yet but according to what i read and some short clips shown I don't think I would be interested.i grew up on the classic Guardians(Charlie 27,Martinex,Starhawk,Vance Astro,Starhawk,Yondu were THE main characters,)What's with the Groo and,Raccoon shit?Just because that franchise made tons of money doesn't mean it's that good. The same can be said for Miley,Justine beaver,Lady Caca ad nauseum.
Inhumans tv show..."so guys I have this great idea, you know how everyone is excited to see a show about these people with superpowers...what if...we castrate all the superpowers?"
Sir may i know the title of your intro song? The link that you given is not available, or maybe you remove it. Can ask of your intro song pls :D i like to hear the full song. i love it. :)
I love Black Bolt and the Inhumans, they are humans engineered to be better by the Kree. The next step of human evolution, like the X-men. Born with abilities that make them better than the primitives.
is that possible for lincoln and skye from agent of shield to appear in the inhumans movie? because all i know is quake (which is skye) appear on secret wars
