This game may get hate for being a so called Overwatch clone but it succeeding is good for both this franchise and Overwatch because it will give both games healthy competition force the devs to improve their games

I can’t be alone in wanting a Victor Von Doom in this game, imagine if he was a strategist (healer) with crowd control and protection spells, not only a great character but would be so fun as a defensive healer who set up big plays for the team or punished greedy flankers

I always say this: Comic book stuff like Marvel and DC have an untapped potential that I am always surprised that there isn't a single game the size of COD or Overwatch already. There are SO many characters that have their design and backstory done that the devs don't even need to think about. There are much better characters than the shallow Captain America that 99% of the world has never heard about and would absolutely fall in love with. And what do people love about "hero" shooters? There being a character you love playing -> variety is unlimited in comics. There is a unique hero or villain or antihero/vigilante or neutral character for EVERY person in the world. Rhino and Juggernaut are the characters I'd love to see. Wolverine too but I hope they depict him accurately because he's actually a small guy just 5'3 but the X-Men and Wolverine movies have made people see him as this big, tall dude. And I hope they make redhead characters actually redheads and not change them like Mary Jane and many others, although it's mostly DC who "deletes" redheads in new stuff. It's crazy how many redhead characters have been changed when their appearance is so striking and important to their character.

Well at least this game's "Reinhardt" doesnt have the basic rectancular shield

i love how in the cons the criticism is the same thing that marvel movies can get where it's like "can the characters stop yapping so much please?"

It has a bit of the finals touch mixed in where you can destroy the map

One of the handful of RU-vidrs when I get notified they upload a video, I get excited and know I have to watch it, whatever it is

I've heard a lot of Overwatch killers, but this one has huge potential. Especially if they price the skins right, they could easily make money. Away from that though, I'm excited to use Star Lord (me savior), Groot, and Loki. Hope to see some others on the way, like Gamora, Captain America, etc.

Hela is broken, it's kinda insane. She will be getting a nerf upon release. I really want to see more X-Men as they are the only Marvel comics I really read. Having Nightcrawler, Professor X, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Kitty Pryde, literally choose any of the above and I'll be happy. Plus with Kitty and Magik, you can get the shipping community talking because they are definitely a thing, the writers are just teasing us. They're definitely doing things to each other, just look at Magik's face when Kitty get's resurrected (look it up, you'll see it, that is not the face you make with your friends).

GAMBIT THE KING OF THIEVES AND ASSASSINS would go so hard in this game. Imagine running around and sniping people with explosive playing cards, and then swapping to the Bo Staff.

Gambit was built for this game. Honestly just any X-Men characters excite me. Seeing magik when the game was announced made me immediately hyped and I love the magneto design

I feel like if this game does well, Deadpool will be inevitable. Personally I would flip if they added Doc Ock. Easily my favorite marvel villain and creating a unique mechanic for his tentacles could look awesome.

being an fps lover,i rarely play third person games,but tbh this intrests me more than its fps counterpart overwatch just because of the diversity and movement abilities hope the makers dont mess this up as bad as overwatch

I would love to get Deadpool at some point, I'm a bit scared that they will neuter him too much and he won't stand out that much, especially considering that everyone is talking all of the time. Also Thor, as a melee brawler/tank. Oh, and maybe some actual villains.

Yuri and josh for spiderman and iron man respectively is huge. Both are incredible VAs and makes me so excited to try both when the game launches... But where is deadpool???!!!

I’ll tell you what I’ve never played overwatch but I’m hearing about and getting hyped up on this game and I’ve been a call of duty player since MW2 and halo. Valorant wasn’t captivating enough I care none about the characters, overwatch same thing, Fortnite haha tried it but quickly got over the initial dopamine hype. But marvel rivals kinda checks all of those boxes. Something competitive, takes a level of skill, and most likely a consistent stream of relevant content that will have my childhood and adulthood heroes I’ve always known and loved. This will take it out.

The game looks so incredible.

8,5/10 is a solid note for the game and i would love to see in the futur cyclops, deadpool, dr octopus and venom

Marvel rivals is 10x more like Paladins then it is Overwatch, but Paladins is so unknown at this point that no one is comparing it to Rivals😭
