I was able to translate the waka poem on the scroll next to the samurai armor on the floor where the Master Weaver painting is located. ささがにの　空に巣かくも同じこと全き宿にも　幾代かは経む（from『遍昭集』）（ささがにの　そらにすかくも　おなじこと　またきやどにも　いくよかはへむ） It is the same as a spider building an unreliable web in the sky. Even a well built house cannot be lived in for generations.
