That's genuinely one of the weaker points. Granted, I may just be spoiled by how well done the visuals were in Overwatch. It looks like it might be better than Overwatch in terms of gameplay when it launches. Here's hoping it is.
Pls don't shove pve into an arena multiplayer pvp focused game. MAYBE some limited time special game mode but we don't need another overwatch situation lol. Let them stay focused on their vision x.x, i'm not even mad that pve didnt come out for overwatch. I'm mad that ALL UPDATES/content stopped for over a year+ because of it ;l and THEN it didnt even come out lol. Just scrap the whole idea and focus on what makes the game great in the first place.

@@StorytellerWeaverNah bro, this isn’t the type of game to have a PvE type mode. It would be very dysfunctional and probably will be scrapped, just don’t get your hopes up, since this is obviously fast paced which isn’t PvE.
For people afraid of Warlock because of rez - Don't worry. Multiple things combine to make Mercy a problem (especially when she had full team rez): Her insane mobility Lack of mobility in overwatch in general (including verticality which SHE has) She can heal without directly looking at allies Damage boost (no need to actually put herself in danger to push damage/aim at enemies) Marvel rivals already has plenty of mobility options for multiple characters also including verticality. Adam warlock has NO mobility from what we've seen which I think is why they gave him a self rez because he's easy to dive / focus on. He has to actively be aiming at his allies to heal + he has to aim at enemies to push damage for his (right click?) which puts him in danger and gives him reason to. I don't think it's going to be that big of a problem but I can understand why people would be worried.
Also his self ressurection has a 60s cooldown (you can see it on the bottom right that the cooldown has started right after he was brought back to life)
@@Ramipon If you didn't play during those times just say so. It was boring for the Mercy because they were incentivized to literally hide away and wait for everyone to die. It wasn't fun for literally everyone involved after like maybe a week or 2 when the novelty of getting a big rez fell off.

I really hope they dont say venom copied venture like how would that even be possible venture just came out a month ago I doubt the developed venom in a few weeks during the alpha

If you have to take multiple characters and smash their abilities together to get a new one then I think thats pretty different lol. No one seriously would consider these copies, overwatch didnt invent the wheel either haha
The art snd character design is amazing. I hope they bring figures based on these designs. I would love Marvel Crisis protocol tabletop with minis that looked like that.
No news on that front just yet. They have about 20 characters in the works. None of them Gambit. But since they're adding xmen, he will come eventually if the game is successful
I loved playing Winston and Dva back in Overwatch as the I loved the get in and out off tank style, and Venom (OG Eddie) has been my fav marvel character since I was a kid in the 90s. ohh I think I have my main! *chefs kiss*
I "YEAAAAH'd!"' twice within the first couple minutes: first when you said Venom was a mobile tank, & again the exact moment you read "Lethal Protector." I love anti-hero Venom.

I can already see the comp of Groot, Rocket, Adam, Star lord, Dr. Strange, and whichever OP dps. No one is going to die, and if they do, rez is available from two supports
def beoming a adam warlock main i was a mercy main in ow2 and hope this will be a better experience. Also i hope hes more than 3 stars i wanna use one of the harder characters
My only complaint, and even that is kinda stretching the definition of what a complaint is: I wish venom had slightly more HP, and a full melee "primary attack" with cleaving claw swipes in front of him, instead of tentacle lashes at a slight distance. BUT that is by no means turning me off the character, because from design to gameplay, he seems like something I would love to main
The Rez ability shouldn’t have a cool down period. When you die and revive, it shouldn’t come up again until you die again and respawn naturally. I’m okay with a mass Rez if it an ultimate ability and takes more than one fight to bring online. The ult just needs to be really expensive
I’m excited for these characters but I’m a bit confused by Adam warlocks ultimate/team up? Can’t he just revive anyone with his ultimate so how does the team up work? Does it just give mantis/star lord his passive essentially?
Honestly I'm super bummed that Venom doesn't actually get to throw a punch with his primary. The tentacles is pretty lame. Still super happy he is in the game and his kit looks fun, it just feels wrong not not being able to punch guys as Venom. Makes it feel like something is missing. Also what is the deal with his R1? Is it a block?
Adam and Venom look and seem like they will be amaxing additions into the game! (Possible Spoilers Below) I also wouldnt be surprised if we see Ultron, Hawkeye and The Human Torch during the July beta because they seemed to have lots of work done on them!
They gave groot 3 walls by himself. Groot vs groot is worse than ow shield meta. The rivals devs haven't learned from ow mistakes, they go for cool stuff in pvp game, it won't end well. Mercy had to be reworked many times due to her rez. We will witness history repeating itself
@@stefsot2 ? This is a completely different dynamic to Mercy and overwatch tho. Groot walls are fine because we have multiple flying characters and there are far less choke points on the maps in this game + mobility is through the roof. Mercy was a problem for Multiple reasons: She has insane mobility. (adam doesn't) She can heal without aiming at allies so she can track enemies easily (adam needs to) She never has to put herself in danger due to damage boosting (adam to push damage has to use his right click) Overwatch has a lack of vertical mobility on most dps champs and the roster in general (rivals already has insane amounts of mobility) All of these put together make Mercy an extremely frustrating nightmare with full team rez capabilities lmao

Im only concearned with Namor not being more mobile and star lord not getting more on his elemental guns. This 2 are just too basic for what they can do as characters i think.
@@EddiePReacts Venom gets health nearly on par with other Tanks (at base without their abilities/max HP buffs), he can also generate some shield/armor health. Obviously a dive tank like him will trade a little health for mobility. Now Hulk is the exception, he is a dive tank with good mobility (not as good as Venom but good), AND high health. But he is a melee tank with Dva style mechanics (although it charges pretty fast.) Winston mains have been going crazy with him.
WHAT?! Adam Warlock was literally created with the soul stone and he has shown on many occasions him not only reviving himself but also other people. Literally his most well known ability is the regenerative cocoon. He’s called: “THE AVATAR OF LIFE” for godsake. For someone who apparently has read the comics your pretty misinformed.
