Marvel's Avengers is an upcoming action-adventure video game based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the Avengers, the game is inspired by the long-running comic book mythology and adaptations in other media. The game's main storyline takes place five years after A-Day, a celebratory day for the Avengers wherein a tragedy resulted in death and destruction, and the Avengers were blamed. The team is forced to reassemble to save the world from peril in the form of A.I.M. led by MODOK which threatens ending the world from superpowers. The game features an online co-op mode, allowing players to assemble a team of heroes of their own. The initial playable characters include Steve Rogers / Captain America, Tony Stark / Iron Man, Bruce Banner / Hulk, Thor, Natasha Romanova / Black Widow, and Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel, with more becoming available to players post-launch.

The master of espionage has been bested by him on several occasions, once even one-shotted. Hulk's been killed by him before. The walking military arsenal as you put it, has been defeated by Hawkeye. And if we're talking titles... World's Greatest Marksmen isn't a bad one. And trained by master martial artist and military tactician, Captain America. I'm just saying, would've been useful to have his eyesight for the Modok battle. Ik you meant it as a joke, but he honestly would've been pretty useful early game. Let's be real though, if Hawkeye one-shots Taskmaster outa the sky, from 50 clicks away, would we really have an entire game to play through to begin with?

@@Hummy- ya, my comment was joke. Hawkeye is one of if not the most skilled member of the avengers in both the movies, comics, and also the games. Is marksmanship is second to none. If you read the spaces of the comment I said "j.k I love hawkeye" I guess I didn't specify enough that meant it was jokingly poking fun of the fact he only uses a bow. But that's also what makes him so powerful, while black widow is also no powered, she has sighted guns and invisibility tech combined with multiple other technologies that assists her. Hawkeye just deadass uses a normal bow and Robin Hoods it with the aim and never misses a single shot. There's a reason Hawkeye is an avenger.

I noticed that too. Perhaps these are the first Inhumans the public is aware of? We also have to take into account that in the comics, the Inhumans that live in Attilan left Earth centuries ago to escape prosecution. Something about the inability for humans and inhumans to live together, thus resulting in the establishment of Attilan, and the ultimate decision to leave Earth for the sake of both species. We'll probably see Attilan return to Earth some time after this, when some Inhuman in Attilan discovers the presence of new Inhumans on Earth.

The only problem I have with this version is that he seems less like he used to be a billionaire play boy. He seems more like he was just some quirky guy who tells witty things. When he talks about how he should do something about his creations, it’s dropped just like that. There was no real development to it and just did what others have done better. He says he has ‘ptsd’ from a day but is never brought up again and doesn’t seem to affect him.

@@LuisGarcia-py5vt No she doesn't. She just has a much inferior version of the super soldier serum, made by the Red Room, that grants her a slower aging and better physical abilities. It's not the same serum as the one they gave Cap, not even close. Cap is much stronger in all areas compared to Widow.

@@MugdhaMahdiShams The bosses are honestly disappointed. The story itself is not exceptional but decent and the graphics are not as bad as it was before. I think a big problem is that many Marvel fans made a big hype around it, I even saw comments from some that said this game was gonna reach the level of the Batman Arkham games or even beat them (some even said "put Dc at its place").

Because the gameplay is boring and bad. All the characters have the same foundation which means Hulk deals as much dmg as Black Widow. That is good to prevent having any broken characters but it makes the uniqueness of every character very small and uninteresting in the end. There is no real difference from all the characters other than their animations.

I think it's cause the games subtitles seems to be copy pasted straight from the script rather than them subtitling it after all the lines are done and meanwhile voice actors or actors in general feel the need to expand upon lines on a script or change it like a bit of improv.

To anyone worrying about the short story campaign, all the new FREE heroes being added with their FREE maps, with be added to the whole narrative of the game. So the game will end being a 20 hour campaign by the time Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics finish their final hero.
