Wow gods issue number 8 was the best I like the plot I hope we see these characters again in marvel they have potential to open Brand new story arc for marvel characters

The problem with the comic is that they released one issue every 6 or so weeks lol. This thing started in 2023 and its only issue 8. If this gets treated anything like Hickman's creations on Krakoa and Arakko for X-men, I wouldnt expect to see any of the new characters introduced in this comic in any meaningful sense again. Too bad as theres def some interesting potential here.

I like Hickman as a writer ,i started reading for the 1st time comics with his krakoan x-men era and Donny Cates's Venom and King in Black series . They got me into comics . Doom #1 was phenomenal one shot .This series though didn't grab me . Not sure if he will be able to continue it or if Marvel approves continuation to the series . I guess time will tell .

I'll most likely go back and rewatch these when you put the full story together. I'll admit I haven't been that big of a fan of this series. I'll even admit I was a bit biased again this series from the start because I would have preferred Hickman to stay on the X-Men team. Not this comics fault so I'll give it another chance; it just never really jumped out at me. Thanks for your reviews as always!

For real. Not much actual war situations but man this series cannot stop man. Hickman is the shit. He is the best writer i have ever truly seen man. Everyone loves his writting. I hope that they give us a bunch more issues

Thanks for doing this. It’s hard to find discussion on this book and this issue has been on my mind! I’m really excited for your followup video. I did really enjoy it; I really attached to this love story in this crazy Hickman backdrop. I’m sad it ended at 8 issues. I wish it was an ongoing so he could have filled it out the way I’m sure he probably wanted to from the beginning. Btw do you recommend his 3 worlds 3 moons project? Is he still working on it?

It seems this is a showing of the games gods play, in issue 4 oblivion is mad something was taken away from him. He was looking forward to the destruction of the universe maybe and the inbetweener might answer to oblivion. Gods have nothing but time to plot and wait and slowly destroy you and take everything away

This moved fast with gaps Marvel needs to slow down. On to the next is not always good. The start of this conflict was going then it went on without a head on collision of events to its current rap up. I must have missed the explanation on the near infinite boxes and Wyn's partners fate after meeting his parents.

I think GODS feels too complicated that's why I only try to read it once in a while too check if it will peak my interest but it really doesn't interest me sadly. Marvel is too complicated already and this feels like adding a more complex component to it.

This was SUCH an unsatisfying story. It doesn't matter if Hickman gies back and fills in gaps. It also ends with an ending with a question left unanswered, and a "gift" that Wynn either "canot" take , or reality gets preaumably destroyed.... or... he figures out abway to fix it all, and tgis whole story was a setup for another book??? That leaves the reader with this idea that mortals cannot own their fate. To which all i can say is "what arevthe gods witgout mortals to commect with them?"

IMO…Hickman is overrated… this story turned out lame…his Krakoa run started good…but ended lame. I’m done with his writing and future stories for a long while.
