World War Hulk works really well, however I think Secret Invasion would be awesome as well.

I like this however the problem with blackbolt is the fact that this a netherealm game. Every netherealm game since MK10 (I think) has featured intros in which the two characters say a few lines to eachother to set the stage of why they’re fighting. The problem with this is that blackbolts power can’t be turned off everytime he speaks he uses his scream and therefore he can’t talk and so his intros if he were in the game would just be him looking menacingly at his opponent.

Top off this dream roster with a shocking end credits (because it's a MARVEL game) scene where we see Thanos fleet already under attack and see Loki (voiced by Tom Hiddleston) in parody of the opening to INFINITY WAR. Our mysterious attacker is revealed to be non other then DARKSEID and he is dragging the nearly dead body of Thanos! END CREDITS DARKSEID: This should be interesting*snaps finger with the Infinity gauntlet* *flash of light*.

I would switch out She-Hulk for Red Hulk as a premier skin for Hulk. I’d also add US Agent as a premier skin for Captain America, Sabretooth for Wolverine, Shang Chi for Iron Fist, Robbie Reyes for Ghost Rider, and Jane Foster for Thor. Also, if you do something like this again, do a roster for a possible Marvel vs DC game.

For a fighting game the original 3 ideas to base the story that pop in my mind are the original secret wars, the general concept of contest of champions, and last as well as least (for me personally) civil war. I don't prefer civil war because it's so similar too injustice with Batman v Superman being substituted cap vs iron man

2 questions 1. How would you feel if a marvel fighting game adopted Secret Wars from 1984 ? 2. Did you know there was originally going to be a marvel fighting game called Marvel Chaos that was going to come out around 2007 ?

I'm a tad in doubt what story to use because I don't know if Injustice existed prior to the games. The comics continued the story, but I have no idea if DC had thought it up before Nether Realm Studios. If NRS made it, then it's up to them to make their own story. If NRS didn't, then I believe they could make a story using elements from past Marvel stories. Whatever story it is, it HAS to be a big plot that involves all the characters in a meaningful way. We obviously needs Avengers, Fantastic Four and X-Men, because they're all famous and always in major events, but how do other characters such as Guardians of the Galaxy or Midnight Sons fit in? One involves cosmic trouble and the other magic threats, so whatever it is, they need to take those in consideration. If I'm not mistaken, 'Injustice 2' had over 30 characters in total, so I'd have a story that only uses the really necessary characters to not waste any slots. So no characters like Black Widow, Hawkeye, Gamora, Drax, all of those are secondary, just put them as sidekicks in special moves of the real important characters. One last thing that I really think should be noted: you don't need to put everyone in the game. If they don't really work well in the story, just save them for a sequel.

This will be lengthy but I envisioned my own dream marvel fighting game for a while since I always wanted to be a writer or game director. My idea was it would be its own original story but with SOME comic elements that happened. The story was that it takes place after Civil War and the avengers and all heroes relationships are strained. However, Annihulus, arrives and wants to merge the Negative Zone with the rest of the universe, so the heroes and even some villains will team up to stop him. I'll also make it so this is the first time the heroes have met Annihulus, so he's a fresh new villain for them. I feel Dr Doom and Thanos are too overdone now and another villain should get some shine time. Here is the base roster Spider-Man Iron Man Captain America Black Panther Thor Black Widow Bucky Reed Richards Invisible Woman Johnny Storm Thing Hulk Falcon Hawkeye Green Goblin Dr Doom Mandarin Killmonger Namor Annihulus Silver Surfer Doctor Strange Scarlet Witch Dormammu DLC characters : Pack 1: Moon Knight Daredevil Mysterio Pack 2: Ghost Rider Mephisto Vergil from DMC Pack 3 Black Cat Clea Shego from Kim Possible (she's Disney so no issue getting her in) Pack 3: Punisher Blade The Tick (Patrick Warburton as his voice, reprising the role from the live action series) Pack 4: Sentry Gorr the God Butcher Darth Vader (also Disney so no issue getting him in) Uncanny Expansion: In a few years after release, the uncanny edition will be available for purchase which can be bought with all content at retail, or bought separately at a discounted price as an add on. Moon Knight should be an MK dlc character, I mean it's perfect his initials are already MK. Or he should get a stand-alone game to showcase his rouges gallery and different personalities/ abilities.

Good roster but I'd replace 3 members of Fantastic Four with Blade Shang Chi Gambit And have the Fantastic Four be like TMNT from Injustice 2 all take up 1 character slot but each character is a different skin. Reed,Sue,Johnny and Ben can work as separate fighters but I feel like in the end they'll mainly be basic generic fighters with their powers mainly thing with him probably being this generic rock brawler and his big Special being this generic punch punch some wrestling knockback punch. For Guest Characters I'd have Johnny Cage( MK rep) Darth Vader (Star Wars rep) Indiana Jones ( the lucasfilm rep if Darth Vader can't make it in) Some GI Joe rep or another mind blowing guest as a last dlc character. A hypothetical dlc pack I would love to see release around Halloween for the game if it comes out before Halloween but not too far from Halloween Could involve Wearwolf by Night Man Thing Elsa Bloodstone And 1 or 2 more Halloween/ more gothic and dark themed Marvel characterss maybe 1 being a guest character

I think civil war would be a great storyline for a netherrealm game it's got those injustice vibes But world war hulk is also a great storyline for it but i'm thinking they could could mix the two storylines in the game It first starts off with the heroes fighting each other then in later chapters hulk drops in and wants revenge on all of the heroes so they end the civil war to stop him What do you think?

One unique character(s) I would love to see would be X Statix (WARNING: Spoilers for the comic, if you like comics like Invincible or The Boys then this comic is for you can’t recommend it enough!). They’re a team of mutants however instead of fighting with the X-men they’re celebrities with their own TV show where they broadcast their adventures. One of the running jokes in the comic is that every issue ends with someone on the team dying in horrific ways. So you can have an joke character similar to Dan from SF while also being an assist based character like the TMNT in Injustice 2 with the main character you control being Mr Sensitive, who’s mutant power is that every one of his senses are heightened to the point that he’s in constant pain. Make it so that he gets hurt everytime he does dmg, however his teammates do crazy dmg but die each time so you can only use them once per match. It’d be nice comedic relief while also fitting in with NRS’s occasional dark humor

Injustice is nothing like MK anyways. I don't count it as NRS/Midway. MK vs DC ? Yeah, that was proper game from them. But Injustice is more Capcom formula.
