@@HenryEAvery I’ve been playing the game and my PS5 is fine. The temps are normal. Most likely you need to clean your PS5 fans if that happens. The dust in the fans are clogging the airflow.

Well, theres the idea it could give him the feeling of safety, love and protection may used to give. Maybe even mimicking her voice in his mind. And thats why he feels so conneted to it. To where when miles/mj rips him out of it, its like they are taking him away from a mother figure/safe area. Pretty sure its been like a year or 2 since SM1. I dont think thats enough time to fully move on.

I can’t believe this game is actually coming out this month. I still remember when it was revealed in the announce trailer two years ago that it’ll be released in 2023 and I honestly thought the game was gonna be delayed to 2024 because usually when game developers announce a specific release date, it changes to give them more time but I’m beyond surprised Insomniac kept their word on this game releasing this year. Let’s all hope the game looks perfect and complete when it’s released.

I don't think Insomniac has ever delayed a game before once they announced a date. The only exception was the Ratchet & Clank movie tie-in, but that got delayed because the movie did and they wanted them out the same day.

I love how the two Spider Men are swinging through New York towards Venom at high speed, and the game goes in slow motion once Venom leaps towards them to imply he’s just as fast as the Spider Men. Especially how they made him look like a normal dude running to make us underestimate his speed.

That's... the opposite of what they showed us? The entire point of Spider-Man's mythos going right back to his original story is that great responsibility DOESN'T come with great power. That it's easy for us to neglect our responsibility when we feel above it all. That Peter could've become one of his villains if it weren't for the guilt he felt over Ben's death. Both have a good approach in their deep thoughts of doing justice for the city and its people in their own city. This is what makes both define each other perfectly. To venom saying the pronoun ''we are venom''. And with the same phrase at the end of both it is beautiful. ''We are spiderman''.🤘🤘😭😭❤❤💙💙🖤🖤

I can't wait just a few more weeks! I am curious how they are going to characterize Venom, as I don't believe it's Harry Osborne, who the symbiote is controlling! While I do strongly support that the symbiote was key to healing Harry of his ailment, I think that once Peter sheds the symbiote from his body, it will take someone over like Eddie Brock. In fact, I wonder if Brock is in the game as the host, and insomniac is perhaps keeping a lid on it? I am excited to find out!

Insomniac confirmed months ago that it’s not Eddie. It’s someone else entirely. The signs point to Harry, but personally, my money’s on Norman

@Twocoolman115 OK, I didn't catch that(obviously)! I guess Brock would be too on the nose! Norman, being the host, would be a unique twist! I wondered if he would emerge as the Green Goblin at some point down the road. However, it doesn't really line up with the game!

Ah! This trailer gave me chills! The 'Be Greater. Together.' message perfectly captures the essence of Spider-Man. Can't wait to team up with Spidey and dive into this epic adventure...

My guess: the symbiote somehow ends up taking over Kraven the Hunter (guessing by how big he gets). I feel there is an intermission somewhere in the game where Peter manages to kill or stop Kraven somehow, but in the process it latches onto him. maybe-and again I’m guessing: Harry made a cure for the symbiote or planned to figure out a way to remove it from Peter, which Peter intended to take especially after hurting MJ and then Miles and feeling really guilty for it. By planning to take it the symbiote felt betrayed, and seeing the superiority of Kraven, somehow it would make its way to him. Then Peter would be forced to reconcile his relationship with Miles and fight him together

this game looks positively amazing. a bit of a shame that they couldn’t implement some sort of 2-player mode, even if it was apart from the main story, seeing how the tagline is “Be Greater Together” and all

i'm sure he will be! we've already seen what they've done with Kraven and The Lizard who are both absolute monsters in their own right, so i highly doubt they'd drop the ball on Venom especially considering he's the thing that most fans are looking forward to.

I’ve just noticed aswell. From the very first time we saw insomniacs venom teaser to now. If you look at the shape of the eyes on the first part they are angled and shaped so maybe that version is Peter then he rejects it and gives it to the real venom owner where it finishes evolving

Besides the fighting of course, I think Miles and Peter compliment each other. Spider-man being such a down to earth hero shows that they have moments of weaknesses and despair but as long as they have each other they can continue to uplift one another and fight through everything. idk, between Spider-Man 2, Tears of the Kingdom, and Baldur's Gate 3 we've got some pretty steep competition this year. i'm personally hoping that this game wins, and even if it doesn't it'll still be Game of the Year for me anyway, but i'm also not going to write off any of the others because this genuinely was such a good year for gaming.
