That is what should have happened in the end in my opinion. A one on one with the symbiote like the spectacular Spiderman. Would have had more weight to it.
No joke i imagine a battle where miles helps to fight in the outside but peter has to fight in the inside, like each health bar is when u swap between peter and miles and mindspace and reality like maybe moments were peter has the upperhand agaisnt miles is where u swap with him to fight the symbiote in his head.
This is how I actually imagined a symbiote boss fight going before the game released. I pictured fighting Miles as Peter and beating him. The story would lead to Peter snapping back to reality realizing he hurt someone who was practically his little brother. He’d go off to a church or something trying to get rid of the suit and that’s when we’d get a fight between Peter and the Symbiote Spider-Man similar to that one episode in Spectacular Spider-Man
Symbiote: Stop! Don't do this! We only wanted to help you! Be with you! Spider-Man: Sorry, Symbie. I know this must hurt, but we're just no good together. Consider yourself dumped.
His SCREAMS are absolutely awesome! I LOVE his painful scream noises. Makes it sound like loud pain noises, instead of an annoyance, can actually kill Venom.
@@VisForVindettadangggg actually yeah that would've been a good motivation, also I think venom should've slithered away somewhere instead of immediately catching him to give to Harry
@@sunstone_xd8977 Peter should’ve left the suit at Oscorp after warning Harry what it would do to him to go get Connors, which he would’ve had to do anyway. Then you wouldn’t end up with a cripple breaking glass that can hold a Spider-Man strength symbiote on top of Peter not being able to move away from him. Giving Harry a scene similar to how Eddie Brock gets the suit in Spectacular Spider-Man would’ve made much more sense.
Damn does 2:00 go hard... This fight would've been much more epic if it was actually Peter internally fighting himself out of the suit, with Miles rushing in to capture the symbiote.
that doesn't make sense for the narrative though. at this point, peter is hardly fighting against the symbiote and he's practically ready to be fully merged. the whole reason he's even fighting miles is BECAUSE he likes the symbiote. its no longer this internal struggle, peter has actually lost himself.
But that's the thing... Peter having a intervention with himself in the form of a boss fight against the symbiote would've not only better highlighted Peter's mental resilience as it's been shown prior in the series, it also would've given credence that Peter still has positive things in his life, Spider-Man is enough for the city and help develop Peter's character moving forward without feeling as if Peter's Spider-Man is getting left behind the dust by Miles' Spider-Man arc. The only reason the Symbiote ever got as far as it did was because Peter was at a low point emotionally following May's death (which he never really had time to just let his emotions flow and to come to peace with) combined with the increasing threat levels in the city. Him going through the process of beating the symbiote's influence in the boss fight would've forced himself to look in a mirror regarding his actions as well, with him chasing MJ, neglecting Miles and stealing the suit from a dying Harry... these should've been more than enough to free himself from the Symbiote's influence and given the Symbiote added animosity towards Peter for rejecting it's gifts. This fight would've also served and to appreciate the fact that despite what was thrown at Peter in the story he still manages to come out on top and that while Miles' arc may be more physical, Peter's is more emotional and psychological. This would've helped them both and waive the idea that Insomniac is only respecting one Spider-Man from a narrative & broader perspective. Ideally if Insomniac had more time, they should've spent 2-3 more hours with Black Suit Spider-Man, showing Peter's gradual fall from grace as he adopts a more brutal crime fighting style, juxtaposed with Miles struggling with the idea of letting his father's killer free or to kill him himself and Miles' interactions with Black Suit Spider-Man, with their interactions becoming more and more sour as both of their problems worsen, leading to their eventual natural conclusions.
@@justin9860Honestly the game does a TERRIBLE job at making Symbiote Peter feel like he's bad. Miles complains about Peter not answering his calls? It's been 3 fucking days, 3 DAYS. That's not even close to being considered "Neglected" Plus Miles was doing his own thing anyway so he has no fucking right to whine. Don't even get me started on MJ. She bitches to Peter that he destroyed half the city in his fight against the Lizard. Bitch LIZARD was destroying the city as well as the hunters. Peter was trying to stop it. Peter calls her out on it ans she answers "ThAt'S nOt ThE pOiNt!" Bitch it was your point, and you were proven wrong. Then she acts like a bitch and writes a story painting Peter in a bad light. The fuck you do that for? You gonna do that to your boyfriend? Let alone when you are well aware that aggravating him further is the absolutely WRONG thing to do? And it's just a dick move to do that to him? Then instead of straight up telling him what happened the night before, she goes all passive aggressive and asks him "WhAt Do YoU rEmEmBeR aBoUt LaSt NiGhT?" Just fucking tell him! Spit it out woman! And Danika comes in bitching about how the black suit Spider-Man is "UgH sO cReEpY" we get is, shut up already
ngl bro peter had no resilience lmao. he literally was making fun of harry's condition that HE is keeping alive AND he literally tried to kill MJ. I think people are seriously conflating this peter with other peters. this really isn't an internal struggle. in most other spiderman media, in a symbiote story, peter is usually alone in terms of power. so, the writers have to have peter himself break out of the suit after seeing how he's hurt others. THIS peter on the other hand? he literally does not care until miles beats him into reason. look at how he fights for example, he fights more like venom, not really peter.
@@iwatommy9139the game is still great just because peter isn’t perfect and needs help from his friends and family at his lowest point doesn’t mean they fucking “shitted” on peter
@@giosbizarreart9048 they fucking shitted on Peter. They had a chance to give the iconic Black Suit Peter a good story but they shitted on him. He lost from Kraven, Got his ass beat by Miles, couldn’t lift a damn train and got mollywhopped by everyone. Never compare that man to 616 ever again. That’s just disrespectful.
@@giosbizarreart9048 Spiderman fans are traumatized by shitty writing from the comic writers. when they see him be flawed which is what all characters usually are they think it's still shitty writing
I like to imagine that inside the hivemind inside Peter's mind is fighting against the symbiote but in reality is miles fighting against pete in the symbiote
BRO agent venom had a little venom head and neck sticking out of his shoulder during the tombstone mission im pretty sure that’s a venom movie reference glitch I’m so happy I finally seen someone else see one of these “reference glitches” I thought I was the only one because I couldn’t find any videos based on mine
I might be overthinking but I just realized Peter raised his hand at the start thinking Kraven was gonna try and punch him and he’d catch it. A bit funny.
If this fight was like the one in the spectacular Spider-Man cartoon with Peter facing himself against the symbiosis, this fight would have been perfect
