@@jacobileoo1941 look at many games I mean, take sonic unleashed for example, 2008 but still the best sonic game, and web of shadows isn’t considered a classic, it’s considered a good game, this is the peak of Spider-Man games, in 1 decade, this will still hold up since you can’t really go further

Those were annoying as hell in the Tasm games man, what I would want them to do is add a little grunt or heavy breathing similar to Spiderman 2 Ps2 and Web of Shadows respectively.

I don't even have a PS4, I love this game even i didn't play(i always watch the swinging gameplay because I don't want to get spoiled, even i don't know when I can buy PS4 and play this 😞🤣)
You can't get the remaster without buying miles morales lol. You either buy the miles morales ultimate edition which has the remaster included, or buy miles morales standard edition and there's a option to buy the remaster in the game menu for $20. Those are your only 2 options for right now.
Is it just me or are the air tricks a bit off in the remastered version. Like not the way they look but the way they feel now... every time I try to backflip Spidey just resists and goes backwards in the direction I’m not swinging, if that makes sense. whereas in the PS4 version he simply just does the backflip but keeps moving forward with the fluidity of his swings, can anyone help or confirm this?

It's all about fluidity, they sacrifice some realism/physics to make the general gameplay accessible and fun for everyone. I agree it can be weird but the end result is really satisfying.
This is good ngl, I could never make this. HOWEVER... It still doesn't hold a candle to Spider man 2's web swinging. 1. No charged jumps. 2. Wall running & zipping to certain locations is shown / locked in a uncontrollable cinematic so regardless of what you're doing ultimately it ends up removing any idea of momentum by the player. 3. in Spiderman 2 you got rewarded / took risks for attempting stunts mid swings. ... I could go into more detail, but I doub't anyone gives a actual shit about my comment.
I do think Peter is better but miles is still great the reason peter is better in this game series is because we got way more connection to him in this and peter has WAY more movies (plus the first game had dlc plus hours of content). Miles on the other hand we only got a tv cameo/crossover on ultimate spider-man, one movie (into the spiderverse), and only ten hours of story. Not as much connection I know he was in the first game but we only got to play a few missions plus dlc but that's not enough to make him better than the OG Peter.
