They said who says Gwen is dead in our universe that’s it. Basically they’re saying we never said she died. She could have but we don’t know or she just doesn’t exist.
Not that much better because in one if the panel its show a world where he accepted Otto's offer and saved aunt may and corrupted her and she legit told that man my nephew would never have done that to me😂. If anything I'd say they trying to ruin his sanity as well😂😂.
@@dimosguy it's been roughly 14-15 years since the events of the first Fantastic 4 comics in 616, and Peter was 15 when he got bit so he's around 29 and at the very most early 30s
@@HurstonEstep616 is actually around similar age (probably 26). Some people might tell you 28-30 because of Original Sin solidifying the spider bite incident to be “13 years ago” but that was quickly changed to ten years and has been the same since. There were time skips in the main universe after that so it’s safe to say he’s 26 as I mentioned
Well to be honest… we all could enjoy a sandwich 🥪 But to answer the question for all to know - Marvel wants to keep Peter a teenage forever. (Which is why most series revolve around teenagers Peter and not modern adult Peter.) This is because it’s easier to keep him in a setting of growing up into adulthood/balancing school/friends/secret identities/villains/superhero groups and activities It’s why they don’t want MJ and Peter to settle down And it’s why they constantly make Adult spider-man miserable And then they introduce spider-boy or miles morales to keep the youthful happy inspiring kid spider-man image. So in short Marvel hates adult Spider-Man And hates good things happening to him Like maturing and being the greatest
The real question is: how are they going to tie all of this multiverse exploring into the continuity of the games? We’re 3 games into the Marvel’s Spider-Man storyline now and Pete has not mentioned the multiverse once. So either these events take place in the future of the insomniac timeline or they have a massive continuity error to resolve.
I need a Cloak & Dagger cameo in something. Whether it's in a game, movie, or show. I haven't really kept up with comics for years, and those are characters i didn't think got any love, but i guess I'm wrong. They're getting their time.
@@matthewdevine5270 listen don’t NOBODY care about Albert, him and rio could simply not work out, he could die, who knows. Plus hailey has a lot going on with her art taking over, who’s to say she doesn’t get an opportunity in Paris or something and has to leave? There are many possibilities
@@matthewdevine5270Insomniac will probably change it up. But the idea of them retaining the whole "Peter and Cindy are biologically attracted to each other" thing from the comics for the games is genuinely horrifying.
@@afewthreads1460 Not only that but they take a lot of inspiration from other issues and universes such as Ultimate Spider-Man, so they can absolutely do things differently. After coming this far in such a short amount of time, Insomniac is not un-self aware enough to do an incest fringe story lmfao.
Also im kinda just realizing this, but in Insomniac while both Miles and Peter have it rough (Moreso Peter but I feel Miles is gonna have a sharp drop over the years) they both get bright spots. Peter and MJ have issues? They... work it out instead of cucking him. Peter is understandably traumatized by the loss of Aunt May? He... remains who he is at his core, a humble hero trying his hardest and eventually does manage to start working through the pain, even getting relief in the form of Anti-Venom (Which is also a huge powerup and likely has the same healing factor Venom has.) Harry is taken over by Venom? He is forced to... be put into a coma, likely to survive and fix things with his best friend in the end. Peter even has more connections in the greater scientific community now and is getting more side gigs to help with cash while MJ forges on to do her own thing as well. And they'll do it together. All while several of his rogues are now either dead (Vulture, Shocker, Scorpion, Electro, Kraven, Venom though i think he may come back for redemption and I think one other) redeemed and being better (Tombstone, Mysterio, Mr. Negative, The Lizard, Prowler though hes for Miles, Sandman, and I suppose Black Cat though I would say shes a criminal, not a villain) or remain locked away unlikely to escape any time soon (Doc Ock, Rhino.) Of those weve seen, the only ones coming for trouble or are still out there are Doc Ock, Green Goblin, possible Hob goblin, Carnage, Chameleon, Taskmaster, and likely a few others I just dont know. But chanced are Chameleon and Carnage at the very least are gonna be DLC enemies to be defeated rather than sequel enemies like in the first game. So by game three thats another two major contender enemies knocked out. Insomniac Peter is well on his way to having a peaceful life with the majority of his rogues dealt with one way or another.
I need to see insomniac Spider-Man interact with other non spider heroes 616 Spider-Man is like best friends with so many yet game Spider-Man only knows miles
i really like their conversation considering they're the top strongest spideys where 616 is at the top while insomniac is below him which right above superior spidey
Insomniac- So what advice can you lend me? Prime- Never meet a guy named Paul. (Back in Insomniacs dimension) Paul- (Touches MJ) Hi my name is! (Gets his head 🤯) Insomniac- Sorry he was an LMD
Could be that Gwen is gonna be the true endgame romance for Peter if things end between him and MJ in the third game. They have unresolved issues after all. Or maybe even she just starts catching his eye and MJ gets jealous.
I wish Insomniac cleared this up. It was always eating me up since the first game like "Did Peter and Gwen meet? Does Gwen even exist in his universe?" So one thing's for certain now is that Insomniac's Peter never met Gwen.
One can only hope Peter wakes up, smells the roses, dumps Mary Jaw Watson and meets up with Gwen Stacy to find out what he's missing. Plus, it'd be SUPER awesome not to be forced into playing MJ in future installments.
spoilers for spider-man 2 i fully believe that it boiled down to three options for the post credit scene Cindy Moon Dylan Brock Or Gwen Stacy and we got cindy, which im not complaining about since she is really only in comics, i don't think she even showed up in across the spider verse
I swear Spot was a D-Tier villain at best and now with Across the Spider-Verse everyone wants for him to be the ultimate big bad. It’s understandable but kinda annoying. Watch TAS if any of you haven’t to understand my point. That was the last major appearance of Spot in any major Spider-Media as far as I remember.
