This November, #TheMarvels take flight. Watch the brand-new trailer, and don’t miss Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau, and Ms. Marvel’s cosmic team-up, only in cinemas November 10.
@@loozziee ok, but that’s not *all* she can do, clearly, right. I don’t get how seeing in infrared can let you go super saiyan or let you soak up bullets. Also, is it just light that they have in common? Because their powers have drastically different origins. Monica got her powers from a magic force field, Kamala is apparently a mutant, and Carol got her powers from the space stone. So is the villain able to link them up by pure coincidence?
@@rileyjfosbre6383 her body is made of light and I believe she can manipulate light as well. And you never know Monica could be a mutant like Kamala or exposed to radiation via her mother.
Same as Carol doesn't just absorb light. Monica doesn't just see it. Why are people trying to find stupid ways to hate this movie? There's probably going to be a lot of reasonable reasons to hate this movie for. Why pick this idiotic one? It makes you look dumber than Marvel's writers, honestly.
She's also clearly explaining the powers to Kamala's family in that scene, so she likely used layman's terms for them. But you're right. People are going out of their way to hate this movie. Smh
Keep in mind she's explaining her powers to a room including Kamala's older ESL parents that probably can't follow whatever nerd ass fandom wiki TED talk you were hoping for.
@@datguy3581 I think it’s a little deeper than that. I think the real talented writers are getting rejected from Disney. It’s either because the money simply isn’t good enough, they want to be more creative but Disney wants to play it safe, and/or Disney has expectations about messaging and a checklist of things that must exist in the stories that a chunk of writers don’t want to deal with. I think it’s obvious that Disney is pushing agendas in their stories, that they also hide in overseas theaters, and substitute that for substantial storytelling. By the way I’m all for inclusivity. The issue is thats all Disney seems to care about, which they secretly don’t, and making money.
@@amaze2173she can manipulate, see, and turn into anything on the electromagnetic spectrum (plus any kinda energy, but thats later on). Also, light entering your eyes is what makes it possible to see, seeing light rays and energy itself is different.
@@garrettingram8568so you’re saying that after secret invasion there is 0 possibility Fury went back to saber considering that’s his main job right now? Bruh use your head this is set after Secret Invasion.
Same as carol doesn’t just absorb light Monica doesn’t just see it that line doesn’t fully explain what she was saying about her powers this comment makes you look just as stupid as marvels writers
Marvel needs to stop putting out these unnecessary movies. The audience already in a superhero movie fatigue as it is. This movie looks like a Disney series 😴
They pretty much only have flops in the past year or two. As far as making billion, Disney is selling off all their TV stuff because they are going broke from all this trash they are putting out. It's a race between Disney and WB to see who will go out of business first.
I disagree with your comment sir.. The last movie only made a disappointing 1.131 billion dollars, and a measly fifth highest grossing movie of 2019. I'm sure this is gonna be another failure.
@@ionfilter0304 you're forgetting about Black Widow. Oh wait, and the Eternals Oh wait, and Shang chi Oh wait, and Quantumania Oh wait . . . Okay, I think I proved my point.
The Marvels take place after the events of Secret Invasion. Roughly, Secret Invasion is set in mid-2025 and is very connected to the present-day MCU. “This series has to happen so that The Marvels can happen. All these things are connected in an interesting sort of way,” Jackson said. Which most likely means we will see Kamala, Captain Marvel or Monica in the season finale of Secret invasion, possibly.
@@mmamsterchi oh, you’re a silly goose, they positioned that movie between the two biggest marvel movies ever. Of course they positioned it to make 1 billion. This time the sequel is positioned between wish, Dune two, and the hunger games movie. They moved it there to die.
@@mmamsterchi they also bought a lot of tickets, many fully booked screenings were empty, we will never know that feminist garbage movie true number, so stop saying it hit a billlion. You don't make money when you take money from your right pocket and put it in your left!
Me thinking 'yes! They used a modern track like Intergalactic which was my jam at Uni'.....then the Beastie Boys post that the album its from is 25 years old.....I cried in Gen X
More stellar writing, like in Infinity War "then it will be the noblest ending in history". Then there are classics like "I've got a bad feeling about this." It's lines like these why I didn't care there was a writers strike.
@@tommyboman7735I gotta agree with you!! It’s not for everyone but Ms Marvel is such a fun origin story!!! It’s definitely targeted towards teens and like Gen Z but not too heavily where it can become unenjoyable for older people, it’s just a lot of fun to watch!
The main actress, family and charm of the show are 💯... but the villains, plot flow and climax are trash. I also found the Pakistani history angle interesting... if perhaps highly distorted.
@@MrMightyZAll she did was point out that the main reviewers for Wrinkle in Time were not the target demographic. People put out propaganda hit pieces to make her seem worse than she was.
@@datguy3581Her logic was stupid. Guarantee those "old white guys" know more about filmmaking and storytelling than her so-called target demographic. 😂
I have a strong feeling Kamala and Nick Fury will be the only things to carry this film. Kinda like how Jonathan Majors and Paul Rudd carried Quantumania. Either way, both are movies that exist
Since when are their powers light based? They were really reaching to give these characters a connection. And htey should probably all smile more. There I said it.
Carol absorbs and release light in the form of heat energy. I think Monica can bend light around her and perform quantum phasing like Ghost. And Kamala can use light energy to create remote physical matter, even her own (elasticity). 🤔🧐
Monica probably doesn't even know the extent of her powers yet...or any of the others actually since she doesn't know Kamala and hasn't seen Carol in years.
Seems to be the year of Beastie Boys ig. No Sleep Till Brooklynn was in Guardians 3 AND the Mario movie (both having Chris Pratt as the lead, what a coincidence) and now Intergalactic in both Marvels trailers, and possibly in the film as well
