Her "sis" is Yelena aka the second Black Widow from the comics so they're probably preparing to pass the torch.

While this is a Phase 4 movie that takes place during Phase 3, they will definitely set up something for the future. Thunderbolt Ross being in the movie, maybe they will slowly introduce the Thunderbolts team? I'm excited for this.

Looks good ..more bombastic then I expected but that’s not a bad thing . Natasha confronting and dealing with her past should add more context to her decision in Endgame which I’m looking forward to . The action looks sick and the music was cool too . This should a nice farewell to ScarJo as Natasha Romanoff !!.

I was a bit sceptical of this movie but it actually looks really good

I dont think anybody in that "family" is related. More likely they got put together to "pretend" being a family and maybe they grew into feeling like a family. Although the "sisters" dont seem to be that friendly when reuniting.

I think we’ll get more than a couple of flashbacks throughout the movie: It won’t be an origin movie but it will explain a lot more of her origins, even in scenes taking place in the “present time” for the movie. The score was badass and Taskmaster and Red Gardian look great (hope Taskmaster will get his cloak by the end of the movie).

Well something you guys might not have noticed, because you didn't call them out. Natasha's "sister", played by Florence Pugh aka Paige from Fighting with My Family, is Yelena Belova, the second Black Widow from the comics, who ends up becoming the Super-Adaptoid. And at the dinner table with the "family" is Rachel Weisz, who's character in the comics was Iron Maiden, but in this is a third Black Widow.

I'm a simple man, I see black widow and Russian Hopper and I click.

In the comics, to my knowledge, Red Guardian never got the super serum, and instead just had to get jacked. He still protrayed the similar role of being the 'leader of the Soviet army' like Captain America was.

I bet she's going to find out her "sister" and/or her entire family is a Red Room clone. This also will open the door for possible return if Scarlett wants to reprise the role in future MCU movies

Marvel is a global brand at this point they don't need to cater necessarily to US Timezones.

Your right Black Widow takes place between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. ... She eventually flips and helps Steve escape, then goes into “exile” after the events of the film, and now we are seeing what she's doing after that happens, before she returns for the events of Infinity War years later

I have a theory. Perhaps outside of Taskmaster, the villains behind it all could either be HYDRA or A.I.M which are the organizations that commonly use Taskmaster services.

The Black Widow film was originally scheduled to release on May 1st, 2020. However, due to the Coronavirus pandemic outbreak (Covid-19), the film was postponed until November 6th, 2020. Black Widow is just one of the many films to be postponed due to Covid-19. Black Widow's release date has been postponed due to the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19). It was revealed that the film is set after Captain America: Civil War (2016). This will be Scarlett Johansson's eighth time playing Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow. This is David Harbour's third comic-book feature, after Suicide Squad (2016) and Hellboy (2019). Previously, Hellboy (2019) director Neil Marshall had expressed interest in directing the film, but was not approached as Marvel is seeking a female director. In the trailer, you can see the same weathered hotel inner courtyard used in another Soviet sparrow school movie (Red Sparrow (2018)) filmed in Budapest, Hungary. On July 6, 2020, it was announced that Marvel Studios executives, including Kevin Feige, were so impressed with Florence Pugh's performance as Yelena Belova that they plan to include her in future MCU films and she may even become the new Black Widow. It can't ALL be post-Civil War though, because they made General Ross look younger than he did all the way back in the Incredible Hulk in 2008. I'd believe it if those scenes took place in the mid 2000's, but not in the 2010's.

we could.....SHOULD have 2-4 blackwidow movies already, on same pace as iron man .... so much depth in her story, so much to be told... especially after endgame, where her sory ended.. ;(

And yes, thank you for noting "so he must have met Hawkeye." Exactly. But I do believe they're hiding Renner's presence in this. Other than a voice-over he did early this year, the last movie he was in was released June 2018, and filming for Black Widow was May-July. And Endgame was filmed jointly with Infinity War in 2017 (other than reshoots). ERGO, he filmed for this! And I think showing Taskmaster using a bow and arrow is a right-in-front-of-your-nose clue that this is true. And why would they have all that dialogue about their differing perspectives on Budapest if they weren't going to show it? (And the first action shooting reported for the film was in ... Budapest.)

In the trailer when you hear her say NOTHING LAST FOREVER that’s supposed to make you think that she truly did die in endgame but when you do hear a line like this that’s when you know that they will bring her back....just do a franchise of black widow because i can and will say that this already looks better than captain marvel. Plus the possible prediction of this movie is that Yelena will replace Natasha like they did in the comics although i wasn’t a fan of Yelena as there was only one black widow to me which is Scarlett’s version and when it get’s to the end credits you possibly will see a Resurrection tease of Natasha but you won’t expect her to return until phase 5 or 6... or you will just see her in a multi verse at the end credits maybe. DAMN I HAVE READ TO MANY MARVEL COMICS

Her sister name is Yelena she's also known in the comic book as a Scarlet Window but I think in the MCU she's going to be the next Black Widow.... The actress that portraying her is Florence Pugh from the movie "Fight With My Family" as Page!!!

I think what she meant by "sister" is sister in arms. It's been reported that this movie is set after Civil War, but a very young looking Thaddeus Ross should tell us that this story isn't all set in the same year--I figure we're going to see her past, what happened in Budapest (the opening shot is Budapest) and continuing to the events that lead up to Infinity War. Many people wanted to know why Black Widow was a platinum blonde in Infinity War, and in a blink of an eye, everyone stopped asking and speculating. She, Captain America and Falcon were branded as criminals and needed to go underground to evade capture, sure, so if you assumed she did it to disguise herself, you probably guessed correctly, but I think her hair color choice was more deliberate. Yelena is a member of the Thunderbolts, along with Red Guardian and Iron Maiden--Ross, to me, is clearly setting up a team, and I think this movie is going to show that. At some point, possibly the end, we'll likely see that the above mentioned are part of his team. Prior to coming to Vision and Scarlet Witch's aid in Infinity War, I think Black Widow was undercover posing as Yelena before abruptly being called back to Glasgow. I know many people believe that Yelena is going to be the nex Black Widow and she might be--aren't all girls of the Red Room Black Widows? I, however, don't think that's going to happen. I think Yelena is going to be her own character, and I think this movie is going to end with Black Widow jumping to the prime timeline, via Captain America at the end. Many have asked what Steve did when he returned the stones who he crossed paths with, and we were told that there's a story there and that someday it might be told, but not when the writers, directors and Kevin were asked about it. But I think we'll see our first glimpse in a post credit scene in this movie. The Avengers lamented her death, and fans hated that she barely got a nod in Endgame after the fact, I think that's all going to pay off when this movie drops. Phase four is going to have 3 characters from alternate timelines joining the Prime timeline: Loki, Gamora and Natasha (Black Widow).

I assume that the Captain Marvel replaced this movie right before Endgame, either because Disney Execs said people won't know who Captain Marvel was and swapped these, or Scarlett Johanson's schedule got too full and they had to push back filming.
