Marvel seriously needs to figure out that not every character needs a show. They can develop by being in others shows. Its just what it is. Not every character can be lead. Same, Bucky, Wanda, Hawkeye (i could go more) had never had their own projects during infinity saga and we still loved them. Maya/Echo could be placed into the daredevil show and have her own arc and i am sure if the writer tried, they could create something great over there

@patricklarsen182 trust me you can totally skip this. Everything in this show can be summarized under one min and nothing happens there that really affects the mcu timeline or anything. I watched it cuz I wanted to see how Disney does thus tv ma thing and all (the show didn't need it either), it was overall an average show.

It was boring especially episodes 2 and 3, poorly edited, Echo as a character is unlikeable. the finale was terrible. The trailer did a good job hyping this up.

8/10, good characters, interesting visuals, great story between Maya and her family. I did think the ending was rushed and kinda thrown together. I have more questions about her family’s powers (sadly I probably won’t get answers) I am quite upset that marvel is allowing them to release the episodes all at once. It’s the first marvel project to have good representation for indigenous people with the Choctaw peoples oversight. This project was suppose to be released a while ago but had to be pushed back because of the strike. So that’s probably why they tried to refresh our memories with Hawkeye clips. I rate this up with Wandavision, Moonknight, and Hawkeye. I love Matt Murdock and his cameo it was cute and sweet. This probably would’ve worked better as a movie but most tv products from marvel have that issue right now.

3/10 for me. Aside from the train scene I was bored out of my mind. This is the first Disney play show that I was actively skipping forward in because I wanted it to be over.

Not 10+ mins of echo on a bike going past the same wall over and over again or pointless flashback scenes that exist purely to pad the run time. Or boring one note villains who do nothing interesting

@@cameronvelska4610 you do realise that just because someone doesn’t agree with you doesn’t mean they hate women? A lot of my favourite comic character are women. Hell my favourite super hero is ms marvel. I just didn’t find echo a compelling protagonist. Aside from the train sequence she didn’t have any stand out moments to shine. Her powers were extremely inconsistent and boring. Sure she had an arc but it’s an arc we’ve seen thousands of times that had been handled so much better. I’m glad you like the show but it wasn’t my cup of tea.

For me it's a 6.9/7, it was good, far from the level of Loki and What If, but better than she hulk or secret invasion, I might even see it again. However the show suffers from coming from the previous Disney regime that thought "more equals better". I hope the new administration corrects this mistakes.

I think it definitely needed 1-2 more episodes to fully flesh it out but all in all i enjoyed it. Not the best show but i think middle of the road.

Episode 1 was the only decent episode but it still felt rushed episode 5 just made me wanna watch phase 1 again and remember the good mcu days .. idk what is even happening anymore

Phase 1 had a different feeling to it .. just didn’t feel so forced and unpolished.. my favorite Marvel character is Hulk and I’m like one of the few people who really adores The Incredible Hulk film loved the darkness and struggle throughout the movie also loved watching iron man and then seeing stark at the end of TIH knowing it was really about to go down I didn’t even mind the actor switch either because Ruffalo did great as Bruce/Hulk in Avengers .. I used to get that excitement I can’t explain when the next Mcu movie was months away .. now it just hasn’t hit the same once since Endgame .. the majority of the Mcu since Endgame has been about characters I truly have no desire to watch or just am not interested in the story of them besides a few standouts of course like No Way Home for example etc. idk maybe I’m just rambling but that feeling the early mcu gave was just so different I can’t explain it

The only Marvel projects I genuinely liked/loved after Endgame were Far From Home (I thought it was fun), 2/3's of Shang Chi, No Way Home, Loki Season 1 and 2, Moon Knight, Guardians 3, and even parts of Hawkeye I liked. The rest of it just feels rushed and boring. I miss how it used to be

@@joec7217 couldn’t agree more it’s not even remotely the same and I can’t even properly follow the timeline or storyline anymore and I know a lot of people say that just to complain but it is genuinely difficult to know what is what and I’m the die hard mcu fan that would always defend the hell out of every film from iron man up til endgame .. but it almost feels like the mcu has become a bunch of filler projects just to say they’ve dropped something new.. I had high hope after endgame but this direction has made me question if the mcu should have just ended with Endgame

Hey, I dunno if you’ll see this, but as a HUGE Daredevil fan (I repeat huge), I actually haven’t found myself interested in this show. That being said, I feel like if it sets up a lot of stuff with Born Again, I ought to watch just to get a gist of things. So what do you think? As a Daredevil fan, should I take my time for an important “preview” show in Echo? Or is it just a plain and simple waste of time?

7.5/10 I liked it quite a bit, but it had obvious flaws as well. Still a promising direction for future MCU content. I want more of this kind of stuff.

Echo in the comics wasn’t an amputee Women never played stickball in Choctaw tribes too so another example of pushing agendas This was the biggest POS of a show I’ve ever seen. The fights were so bad and so unbelievable, the choreography was sooooo bad and every punch and kick missed by 3-4 feet. A perfect example of MSHEU. He only draws power from ….you guessed it women. Every male is a wimp and every women can kick every man’s ass. It’s the reason marvel has gone to shit. The grandma scene punching the dudes is the perfect example of what’s this show was like

They've been officially canonised within the last week or so. _Definitely_ worth a watch though - just make sure you stick to the release order across all six shows as they crossed over a fair bit

I skipped Echo and haven’t seen What If season two yet either. Only Marvel projects I’m excited for are Deadpool 3 and Fantastic Four. Everything else…🫤
