(Marvel) Tony Stark | Purpose 

Tony Stark is the best developed character in the MCU, he started off as a douchebag that only cared for himself, and he ended being selfless and saving the whole universe at the cost of his life. No one can replace RDJ, We Love You 3000 Iron Man.

When tony told Steve "I lost the kid", that was the voice of a man who was a father that had his child die and he couldn't do anything

GOD, do I miss RDJ already as Iron Man/Tony Stark, the MCU will never be the same or reach the same hight again...

“You’ve become part of a bigger universe, you just don’t know it yet.” You’re somewhat right Fury, but he created the universe, not joined it.

Instead of dying in a cave alone, he died saving everyone, surrounded by friends, loved ones, Kings, soldiers, Gods, during his end "Don't waste your life" He didn't.

Can we take a moment to appreciate Yinsen, He is the foundation of Tony Stark l, without him, he wouldn't be here to save the MCU

These 9 minutes feel like 3 hours...

"The man who has everything but nothing" quote stuck with me for so long with Iron Man. He eventually got everything. Thank you Yinsen for inspiring the Tin Man in a cave.

"You can rest now." That single line made me break into tears during my first watching. When Tony was talking to Pepper in their house about the time travel discovery and that he was talking about buring the whole discovery, Pepper told him "But will you be able to rest?." Referencing his character, always thinking and wanting to protect. He would've regreted it so much if he hadn't at least tried to save the people snapped away by Thanos. Concluding Tony's arc with Pepper telling him that they were gonna be alright now and that he could finally rest was the perfect line. Finally, after everything Tony achieved what he truely was after all this time. Some rest.... His peace.

Tony started out as a douche that only cared for himself. Then he got Pepper. Harley. The avengers. Peter. And then Morgan. He felt love. He cared for those he loved. He wanted any chance he could get at death, that would save them. Best. Character. Development.

This Had Me So Emotional. He sacrificed himself every time, but now for the last time always. His love for Peter brought him to build a time machine. His love for everyone made him to snap with the Infinitiy Gaunlet and save the universe. His love for Pepper. Morgan. Peter. Steve. Nat. For the whole Avengers. He can rest now... but just because Pepper said that they'll be ok. I am going to miss him, I already do

Tony Stark. A billionaire and genius who has everything a man could want and more. Left his father's military weapon company after his father died in a car accident. He was left orphaned in his teen. Money had corrupted him over the years. It wasn't until he almost died that his life began. He was kidnapped by terrorists who threatened to kill him if he didn't build a weapon for them. He used his intellect to build a suit of iron to get himself freed from the cave and after he was rescued, he perfected the suits. Making them less bulky and learned to use the suits for good. Defying what others told him to do, he came out to the public as what the media named him as "Iron Man". It was those four words that would change his life forever. "I am Iron-Man." He continued to be a hero, found the love of his life, made a team that would not just save the world but the whole galaxy. granted, they didn't win every time but they tried and defended it with their lives. He retired and made a life, not being able to be a hero after failing. But he came back with one intention and one intention only. To kill the plague that was killing him to think about. Thanos. To destroy him and win once and for all. When they finally won, they were happy but at the cost of two lives. Natasha Romanoff and Tony Stark. His last words were "I am Iron Man." The words he said when he began his life as a hero and the last words he said before saving half of the universe. I really love how his character progressed through each movie until the last second. We will miss you Tony but rest well. You saved the world after all. We love you 3000.

The sacrifice of Tony Stark affected Captain Rogers so much he chose a different path after returning the stones and turned out an old man with a reguar life in the end. Iron man was the top hero character of the Avengers - an ordinary man who wouldn't give up. And he brought in Spiderman.

"You only fight for yourself" -Steve Rodgers. That man gave his life 4 times to save the Earth, to save u captain, to save bruce, thor, natasha, pepper, peter, morgan. He only fought for everone other than himself, Captain.

Tony said to Peter in Homecoming that he should just stay a friendly neighborhood spiderman. He dies, and Peter looses yet another father figure. He realizes that Stark was trying to protect him. All he wanted to do was to respect Tony’s wishes. In FFH, he keeps telling Fury that he isn’t ready, and that he is a friendly neighborhood spiderman Ik this has nothing to do w/ the video but it’s just a thought. Also this made me cry so. Good job. :)

The expression on Tony's face when he delivers the line "we are not soldiers" conveys pain and anger. Brilliant acting.

He began an era, for some of us he also ended it. But the truth is he will live in us forever, as long as we remember about him. The era will end when we'll forgot about Tony Stark

He may not be real, but he’s inspired so many people, which makes him more real to me than anyone I’ve ever known.

These movies are looked passed too often because they're based off of comic books, but RDJs performance over the course of the last 10 years has been absolutely spectacular.

God my heart hurt so much watching this. Tony Stark is by far my favorite character. He had so much development, and he has his flaws, sure, but in the end he was the most selfless man. Captain was wrong. First he was willing to sacrifice himself to save a city. Then it was to save the world. Then it was to save the universe.

Avengers: He took the nuke with him to destroy the Thanos army and save NY. Age of Ultron: He blew the city almost risking his life to save all. Infinity war: He faced Thanos with no second thought and made him bleed. Endgame: He killed Thanos and his army by ending his life. He was always fighting for others, not for himself. Respect!!! Tony's arc will forever be amazing in the MCU. Not only that you'll notice it on his attitude, but the way he lives. He used to live in a cliffside mansion, and in Endgame he lives in a small house next to a lake. And the fact that he has sacrificed his life many times just shows he still cared about the others.

Genius, billionaire,playboy, friend, mentor, husband , father, philanthropist, Earth's mightiest defender.

The OG hero was the scientist that sacrificed himself so tony can escape the caves, if he didn’t do that Tony wouldn’t survived the cave and become the savior that he became

I still feel teary whenever I see ironman. I love him. I don't if I could ever feel the same watching any MCU movie knowing that I will probably never see ironman again. God I miss him and of course RDJ's portrayal made it so great.

I think the biggest change in his arcs is the moment he see the Alien spaceship hovering above Manhattan portal. Imagine your whole life sum up to a crisis moment, your sadness your anxiety mean nothing to whatever terror is out there, especially when u have a the power and the responsibility to protect Humanity. Tony suffered so much when his parents died. He said, “I lost the kid..” when Peter was dusted. “Mr. Stark we won mr Stark please we won..” Peter lost Tony. Peter and Tony have suffered so much.

Without pain, we cannot have empathy.....loss helps us understand how important each day is. We don't get to choose our time. Death is what gives life meaning. Loss, pain, failure....
