That's actually his initials in a hand sign. When you stick out your thumb, middle finger, and pinkie, with your left hand, you make the letters "V" and "J" to those in front of you. Your pinkie and middle finger make the "V" and your middle finger and thumb make the "J". It's pretty neat.

I actually really like this version. The beat is stronger and the tempo is a little more laid back, which I think is fitting. Look at it this way: Joe is completely surrounded by his favorite heroes, both on the Marvel and Capcom side - don't you think he'd be in heaven? Just reveling in the fact that he gets to fight alongside/against those he looks up to...to me, this theme says "my dream is finally coming true, but I'm still giving it my all". tldr: Life is Viewtiful.

Every time one of my team members died, I'm expecting to hear "Just Go For It" once he appeared on screen.

Joes theme makes me feel happy it tells me everything is going to be ok and puts my sprits high if joe was a better fighter he'd be on my team I love joe games and his theme brings a smile to my face :)

I was just a kid in Highschool man... These tracks, these songs, and the countless matches on Xbox live with my bros, shuffling this, Call of Duty, Tekken Tag 2, and Street Fighter 4 (all versions). I would kill to just go back one more time when things were so much easier.

Look here folks, there has been a lot of bad things said about the many things inappropriate associated with this character. And I'm not defending that, but when his first game came out it one of Capcom's most original characters, and games of it's time. I will never forget my first henshin, and kicking butt in slow motion, it's a shame this character got so shafted in the US. I own all four Viewtiful Joe games, and I will never forget this amazing character for as long as I live.

Viewtiful Joe is one of those games that people may have heard of, if they play a lot of Capcom, but never got arround to playing and enjoying this game. Viewtiful Joe is such an interesting and fun character! Not to mention the gameplay is so stylish and fun! You could even say its art style...IS VIEWTIFUL!!!

I only have one word to describe this theme....Viewtiful!

@AlphaSierraHotel117 He is from Capcoms game called Viewtiful Joe. He gets sucked into movieland with his girlfriends, Sylvia. Sylvia gets kidnapped and it's up to Joe to save her. Joe gets a watch called V-Watch that allows him to use VFX-effects like Slow, Mach Speed. It also gives him that cool costume.

Still hasn't changed into that yellow outfit.

Although people think he sucks in mvc3 his air combos are a monster you can get up to 25 combos at one with this tiny guy. I was only 6 when I played the first viewtiful joe

Joe isnt supposed to be in his Henshin form unless he's in Movieland or being recorded, thus making the Cameraman Obvious and makes all those Pretty Cutscene movies just a Movie instead of a game! Joe, you Broke the game!

@NextTheSquare You're absolutely right that you can't decide which Universe is better, in terms of which side could kick the other's ass, or in terms of the creativity of the characters. However, we can decide which side we're most practical to, which in my case is Marvel.

Sounds like a muzak version of level one's theme. Not bad, definitely can henshin to it, but it's just not the same.

@TupacTheLegend22 For everyone's information, Joe's costume is supposed to look like Captain Falcon/Power Rangers. In fact... that type of costume is popular in Japan. It's called Sentai, and there are tons of Japanese heroes that use them. Gachaman, Power Rangers (aka Super Sentai), etc.

@Stiengrabber She got in because they wanted a SF4 rep. Which makes sense considering it revived the franchise.
