Also modern controls and one-button specials are a very good thing. The reason why Street Fighter and Guilty Gear had to reboot and slow things down is because of how overwhelming the gatekeeping is with fighting games. Not having to focus 90% of your time learning how to do motions and just being able to jump in and compete with experienced players has proven to statistically be more beneficial to the fighting game community, allowing new players to learn core mechanics first. Older players who don't have the ability to perform complicated motions or people with disabilities can have fun too. Just wish they went the Street Fighter 6 route and added minigames that are engaging, fun, but also help teach new players gameplay mechanics that make them competitive in online.

note: it says switch but its also other systems including pc. which is funny cause when ppl learn of the pc one they went "i cant wait to mod the game!" and im here like the only reason this finally got rereleased and pc release is they gonna anti cheat the living sin out of it like they did with previous capcom titles in the last year that angered modders. besides modders made the anti cheat kinda @#$!s with steam deck users so game got problems running on it which sucks especially those that want to play monster hunter world on the go.
