I remember when this first came out. I visited Brixton market and came upon one stall owned by an African. The pirate copies of this song were displayed in every language pertaining to Africa with their faces and church choirs on them. I said to the vendor 'Ah wah dis' He replied 'Yes,Yes it is our song we sang and produced it first'. Man lie u see.....

This song speaks volume, and I can relate to it

I thank God for this song. I'm not jamaican or from the carribeans, but I grew up in a church that had come from Jamaica and the church was always a family towards me. I grew up singing songs like this but when i was older we moved so we went to a different church. It's funny because they sang songs country style so when I sang songs for them it was always with a calypso or reggae beat and the band would always get lost. But PRAISE GOD for Marvia Providence and this song.
