In this clip, Bishop Marvin Winans reflects on the controversy that arose when he previously criticized Kanye West's Sunday Choir, asserting that it was not inspired by God. #religion #youtube #church #kanyewest
According to God's word. If my people who will call out my name, humble themselves and pray. Turn from their wicked ways and seek his face. Then he will heal the land.
@@rev.latonyiajames5713 true. That’s the thing though, the ball is in man’s hands and it’s up to us to decide to either continue doing what we want or repent and start to follow God’s commandments.
I love Marvin one of the greatest singers ever. But I just hope that Marvin Winans is keeping that same energy when it comes to Deitrick Haddon and The Clark Sisters who I know he's cool with and these other gospel artists who have compromised and have become demonic. If you got that discernment for Kanye he should have that same discernment for his peers in the gospel industry
Here’s the truth, those people you named also knows that Beyoncé and Kanye openly worship the enemy and have done so…. They support them and love them.
You are right and that's the problem more preaches on RU-vid are preaching Kanye West Kirk Franklin everything but the word of God Donald Trump I'm tired of it I want to know is there a word from the Lord
Y’all do owe him an apology and the fact that you feel the need to type a rebuttal to what he said is proof that y’all are the ones who already know you lack discernment but still can’t shut your mouth and get defensive when somebody says what you already know about y’all ignorant selves.
Be consistent pastor. You boldly, and rightfully, called out Kanye, yet were overly cautious when it came to the foolishness of other prominent pastors.
Kanye is not a Pastor. He is worldly he has denounced and moved away from secular music. So the Pastor has a right for Kanye to try to minister as if he has been anointed to do so.
@markgolden6265 Romans 16:17 applies to those that are in the church. 2 Timothy 3:16 gives four applications for scripture. The foolishness coming from the church, not the world, is what's dividing the body.
@jamesross6476 Did you listen to what he said. I am a holiness preacher and I only preach and teach the word of God. 1Peter 1:13-16. Leviticus 11:44 and Leviticus 19:2. Pastor called out him for doing what he was doing because, it was not Holy. Those other preachers know they have one bigger to answer to for being worldly.
@@markgolden6265 I am a preacher as well. I did listen to his address concerning his reluctance to speak on other ministers. I just find it a little disheartening that he goes to the low hanging fruit of Kanye to seek validation.
Bishop Winans, what about what Jesus told John in this scripture? Mark 9:38-41 King James Version 38 And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us. 39 But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me. 40 For he that is not against us is on our part. 41 For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.
If he's referring to the Sunday Choir, his reasoning is inadequate because before they sang at various churches, they were mandated to fast before singing. This was done weekly. When the sing it's not for show.
@@Lavi_407 Oh yeah, I 'm not debating the fact that Kanye made money off of them, hence the lawsuit that the director filed against him because he didn't pay them a dime. However, for Pastor Winan's to say the choir wasn't of God is inaccurate
Didn’t the church community criticize the Winans when they had Anita Baker singing with them on “Ain’t no Need to Worry”? It was on the Decisions album and ranked very highly on the charts. I understand the points made, but how is his criticism today different from the one given to him and his family for the “Ain’t no need to Worry” song?
Anita Baker and Kanye are a FAR FAR FAR difference. I’ve never even heard Anita use a curse word nor call herself Jesus. Now, I hope it don’t come out after I make this post lol. 😂😂
Marvin Winans needs to give them people that money back for that fraudulent building fund. Black pastors wanna talk about the world buy not their pastor friends that are wordly, including him. 🤭
If you don't care what people think you don't care because they don't come to your church then why should we want to listen to you we don't care what you think or we don't come to your church that's dogmatic you should say I speak the truth for everybody to hear whether they come to perfecting or not
@@landonhiggs1284 I didn't say I didn't care about the brother but if he post something it becomes public if he don't want no comment don't post it as far as you I'll watch what the hell I want to watch you must be one of the people he's pimping in the church cuz you couldn't be saved with your attitude
No different than what others are doing. We pick and chose who to support. Kanye choirs did more for young people than most. All these pastors do is talk, take in money no investments in the community.
How do any of you know what Bishop Winans is doing for the community? Or what other churches are doing for that matter? Do you all know every preacher or every church to make such a broad generalized statement??? I can name ten churches in my city that do a lot for the community. Church's are not supporting Kanye because he's created a false theology that he claims is based on Jesus which was actually based on demonic New Age teachings. And somehow you all overlooked that to criticize Bishop Winans for calling out Kanye's demonic teachings. And what exactly did Kanye's church do for young people? I'll wait.
Yall are bias you just want to defend Kanye. He was right and it is what it is. Kanye didn't do more for young people he played music, choirs. He has done no outreach for his community l.
Sadly, they were emotionally moved by music, not the Word of God. No alter call, no repentance, no follow-up to make sure they were being fed the Word...I know because i knew the musical minister of that group.
