I keep seeing comments of people complaining thinking these horses are being forced to lash out as they do.. ya'll need to research cause what you see no one taught them they do this naturally without any help from anyone.. the handlers that have whips in their hands they use as a way to guide them and target them to look towards it.. i promise their not harming them.. I use tools like whips too to guide my own horses
The owners obviously like this behavior since they made an entire video of it. I don't think they are forced any more than any trained or encouraged behavior is forced. I guess they think it's macho. Whatever. As long as no one gets hurt.
You cannot be serious.... obviously you have never been to an Arabian show and you have never watched the Arabian trainers.... they whip the crap out of the poor horses.
I know that stallions in a natural herd setting will strike at one another but the way this horse is behaving makes me believe that a whip has been used on his legs. Whip training to common in showing Arabian horses at halter.
If what you are saying is true, then why are those not-so-famous Arabian horses that have never competed or trained for beauty shows still behave the same way? You are just saying things.
I owned Arabian horses for thirty years and never saw one act like this unless he was in the breeding shed or allowed to go nose to nose with another horse, or was in the show ring.
@@HMAnetwork - no, it's how they are handled & raised. Yes, stallions do have testosterone - but the fact that ALL of them display the exact same posturing aka: fake battle horse - is not a coincidence. It's training, we're not stupid.
Marwan is stunningly beautiful ,the grey stallion is also gorgeous. you are very blessed to have them.sadly ,they look ridiculous with all that grease on their faces & the black is not a good look.. are they taught to strike out for show ?...
Arabians are highly strung and have a huge amount of energy. When they are really peppy they will rear and jump about but that’s because they’re excited. In here I suppose a few of these magnificent Arabians are trained to kick out but when we see one of the sons of Marwan approaching another horse I don’t think that’s trained.
Makes me want to run out and buy an Arab, NOT. I had Arabs in my stables and NONE acted like this and they were well bred representatives of their breed. Showing striking and rearing behavior does nothing to entice the Adult Amateur to purchase an Arabian, as a matter of fact, it does quite the opposite. And who supports the horse industry? Adult Amateurs, no matter the breed.
Makes you wonder what these horses have gone through that they strike out so much. Whoever the trainers/handlers are should be ashamed of themselves. This is NOT How Arabians act when treated well. The person at the 1:13 mark should be reported for abuse.
