I'm fairly local, absolutely love this place. If you don't mind the rain the best time to go is when it's tipping it down! Not many people around then. The location with the house really gives a good feeling too, it doesn't feel like some tiny urban zoo with animals in concrete cages but more like a conservation project which they do a lot of important work for. Edit: just seen watching more, you mention the enclosure size being big and conservation info!

My childhood... Used to go here almost every week, that or Paultons While we did thin out a bit to twice a month once we got Merlin passes, its still a lot of times I visited

I think places should do sugar free cakes and biscuits aswell as normal ones so diabetics like myself can have a treat without worrying about blood sugars
