Gawd, at that low health, you could've finished so much sooner with 2-3 regular hammer swings. Hammer Flip may be the strongest, but it has limited range and huge startup lag.

A tip: At Galacta Knight, pressing the DOWN button is the key to dodge most of his attacks.

I remember my first time doing the true arena, I had played metaknightmare 5 times so I was good with the bosses. I made it up to Marx soul with four tomatoes. But I only took 2 on accident and went into the fight with 1/2 health :(

I beat this mode not long ago. It was so satisfying hearing Marx soul scream as he split apart.

Ah, as pissed off as I always sound when I comment, I always love people playing Kirby. Can't wait for Return to Dream Land! Anyway, back to angry sounding comment. You were doing so well up until Galacta Knight. Then you just decided to take a pill in sucking. 7:05 Tornado attack, why the hell didn't you just move to the left? He literally cannot hit you with that attack if you just keep running. Instead you just stood there and guarded as he came down on you. 7:20 Here you're shown he's flying too high up for Hammer Flip to hit him. 7:30 You try and hit him as he does a move, but as the move ends and his lance's stuck in the ground, you just slowly walk. 7:35 He dashes up to you, then takes forever to actually launch an attack. Perfect time to use Hammer Spin to both hit him and get behind him, no? Nope. Just stand there. In fact, don't even jump over the attack. Just guard. 7:40 Oh look, he's right above you. Yea, just keep guarding there instead of running away so he doesn't hit you. 7:50 You try Hammer Flip again even though you should know it doesn't work. And then you literally do it again instead of doing a Giant Swing (midair attack). At least you got lucky in that doing it again hit him coming down. 8:05 Every time he jumps high in the air, you run way too far away to punish. YOU HAVE AN ATTACK THAT MAKES YOU INVINCIBLE. USE IT TO HIT HIM WHEN HE LANDS. 10:00 Sees seeds raining down. The only time you SHOULD guard is when moves that spawn randomly happens, and you decide to instead try running away, which is what you should do for moves that have a set pattern. 10:15 AGAIN, YOU HAVE A MOVE THAT MAKES YOU INVINCIBLE. LITERALLY JUST KEEP SPINNING ACROSS THE STAGE. And even if you forgot that makes you invincible, just keep running. Literally that's all you had to do. Just keep running. And instead you decide you should stand in one spot. Cause' clearly he'll miss if you decide to stop moving when he's still following you, right? 10:30 Despite the VERY CLEAR indicator of where he's going to respawn, you don't charge Hammer Flip until AFTER he's already there, leading you to miss. 10:33 Why would you think Hammer Flip reaches him when he's on the top half of the screen? 10:35 The cutter blades are clearly not going below him, which is where you are standing, but you decide to run to his sides where they're coming from. Brilliant. 10:55 Yes, again just stand there not moving. You fought Marx, he used this move at least twice! How did you think you could just stand there? 11:22 Again, you start the hammer flip AFTER he's already back together, instead of before, which causes you to miss. Also, you were standing too far away anyway. ALSO HE HAD LIKE NO HEALTH LEFT WHY WOULD YOU USE SUCH A SLOW MOVE. IT'S LIKE TRYING TO DESTROY A PEACE OF PAPER BEING BLOWN IN THE WIND WITH A BAZOOKA! YOU'RE NOT GOING TO FUCKING HIT IT! This. Literally this for the rest of the battle. You could have immediately ended it with any attack, but you chose to do the slowest one you had. 11:44 You even say he has no health left. You didn't make this mistake in The Arena when you used Spark! You knew to just use the normal needle attack when they had no god damn health left! 11:53 He never STOPS tracking you until he pops out. All you have to do is keep moving until his timer runs out. Or use that move that gives you invincibility. 12:00 "He keeps on splitting so fast" Then why don't you use a faster attack? 12:05 Again, he comes in from the sides of the screen and slowly reforms, and you just stand there doing nothing instead of charging Hammer Flip, but then when he does reform and charging Hammer Flip would be too slow, YOU CHARGE HAMMER FLIP INSTEAD OF USING A NORMAL ATTACK.

This video made me remember why Marx soul is tough. Because he is fast as hell :(

This guy doesn’t seem to understand how a true final boss works, now, I love your channel, but you kinda complain to much on him moving to much or to fast, but he’s supposed to be like that, it’s a harder version.

When I was a kiddo I was never able to beat Marx Soul ;-;

All of them but the Air Ship, The knight, and Marx Soul are easy as hell, and even then if you know Galacta knight's attack pattern you can destroy him. Kabula can be hard, but can be aced pretty easily if you know what you're doing. Marx Soul is fast, hard hitting, and takes a beating.

I don’t get why people say why this is hard, in my experience hitless sub 6 minutes was a challenge, but the arena itself with no parters hammer only is EASY!

Kirby's Return to Dream Land costs twenty dollars on the Wii U's eShop, and the cost of the disc version varies. I got lucky and bought one at thirty. Both versions do require a Wii Remote to play

I still remember when I beat the true arena. I've done it with hammer, sword, beam, and mirror. I tried doing it with suplex but by Galacta night I gave up. And I remember that i was so close to dying at Marx soul with beam then I hit him by accident then he died.

Congrats in finishing Ultra! So here's some stuff you might need to know in Return to Dreamland. Co-op: If you decide to do Multiplayer in this game, there are four options for characters (For players 2-4) They include: Kirby, King Dedede ,Meta Knight, and Bandana Dee ( Bandana Dee is Spear.) If you jump on the other player you will piggyback ride them, have all players hold the guard button (A I believe?) and you will unleash a special attack. All of you share lives which appear less than in other Kirby games, if players 2-4 die they consume a life and don't affect progress, but if player 1 dies, it will take you back to your last checkpoint. If you run out of lives, and player 2-4 dies, they come back with half health. If player 1 dies a game over is received. Solo: Like other Kirby games, you can pause the game and it will provide you a move list of the ability, there is ONE ability in this game that has not appeared afterwards and that is water. Also Spark is Plasma. Out of space.

This was the hardest shit ever as a kid. I remember speedrunning it and getting my time down to about 3:16 or so.

I mean, accidentally spoiling something in the thumbnail is one thing, but spoiling a secret boss in the title is another deal. Of course, this is a pretty old game, so I don't really care too much, but imagine if this was a recent game. :/

You still need to 100% the game. Beat helper to hero with every helper. And find all treasure in the great cave offensive.

I've always used fighter in the true arena due to it's ranged attacks and the dash kick. Hilariously I went back to this game after Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot, and I found this arena to be way easier.

Each Kirby game has a soul boss and a that soul boss has one eye whether is in their mouth or just an eye it all started with Zero and Dark matter

In my opinion, even with Meta Knight, Galacta knight is harder than every other boss up until Marx soul

This is my hardest boss battle of all time. It took me SO MANY FRIGGIN TRIES TO BEAT THIS GUY. I HAVE NEVER RAGED HARDER THAN WHEN I WAS TWELVE AND I HAD TO BEAT NINE OTHER BOSSES JUST FOR ANOTHER TRY.

Its because of you that I got this game for my emulator as well. I can't wait to beat it all too :) Also Ndukauba, 1) Can't wait for Return To Dreamland. You will love it. 2) Throwing out suggestions here, but you could play Epic Yarn too. It's not as good but it's cute. It's the Yoshis Wooly World of Kirby basically XD. Who hates how you can't dodge Galactic Nova easily? And who hates how Marx teleports out of nowhere? (Not Marx Soul) And last, but not least, who hates how Heavy Lobster comes out of nowhere and is hard to beat with a helper?

That's Marx soul's magic for ya, he's easy at the start and makes you underestimate him. Then when he has no health left he becomes one of the hardest kirby bosses.

The reason why you took damage at the beginning of Wham Bam Jewel's fight is because, when he draws the hand away, he opens it, enlargening the hitbox. Was that english? Pretty sure not.
