RECORDED OCTOBER 2022 I first heard this beautiful carol sung by Leah, a finalist in the BBC Songs of Praise, Chorister of the Year in December 2020. I've wanted to sing it ever since. BIG thanks to Simon Hanhart and Richard Cottle for doing such a brilliant job with the track & for their creativity with that very special, little extra bit, as a nod to my chorister roots #avemaria 🤗🤗 In one way it is a little bit sad that 2023 will see me bid goodbye to this very special voice range but I like to see it as a new beginning and not the end. The world changed a lot in 2022 but the comfort that music brings helps it to survive through conflict and my thoughts are with those whose Christmas this year couldn't be more different than to 2021 💙💛💙💛💙💛💙 With love and best wishes to you all. Thank you so much for your support this year. Merry Christmas 🎄🌟🎶 Cormac xx
Brilliantly and beautifully sung, yet again. The colour of your 'new' lower register is just gorgeous to listen to! Indeed a new chapter lies ahead, Cormac... if you keep staying true to yourself and manage those precious muscles well, your gift can bring joy to millions for decades to come!
Thank you young Angel… for this song. Gives me strength to patrol the night inside a dangerous property as an armed security officer . That I know the Holy Mother’s Son is with me always……….
@@whitneyhouston1122My voice when through the “traditional change” over around 2 years from 13 to 15’ish. Then when I started my professional career, having moved interstate from home, my voice when through another change when I was around 22 - 24, which had some additional levels of embarrashment when I was having these serious meetings and my voice would crack! None of my friends seem to go through this, but yes, even a “traditional change” such as Cormac is going through his voice will go through various deepening, and at the start you don’t have any idea where it is going to land.
Mary did you know?!? I don’t think she did Cormy!!!! Omg!!! Is the Cormac!! You have grown on this channel and I have grown with you, this channel for me has been and EMOTIONAL rollercoaster! I have a photo of you on my wall and I look at you and play your songs to help me sleep #LoveYou #KeepUpTheWork #SendingLoveFromCanada ❤❤❤❤❤Slay
I love your voice and I can hear new tones in it. I know the near future will be filled with uncertainty to know how your voice changes, but I believe that, if you keep singing, you will find your new voice. Just imagine how wonderful it will be to discover and explore your new sounds and the new paths you can travel with it 🎶🎶 I will always be here to support you. Much love from Portugal 💖🎶
@@CormacThompson You get over that bit, then you start singing with your normal voice, whatever that might be, tenor, baritone, alto bass. What style do you think you'll take up, classical, your own style as others have done, or pop
Absolute perfection Cormac, it just doesn't get any better than this. Captured here for all time, and accumulating many millions of views over time. I know I shall be replaying this many times in my lifetime. Thanks for sharing.👏👏👏
Cormac, you did very good on that song, "Mary, did you know." I can't believe you sang it differently. I love it. Keep going, keep singing, cause I'm really happy for you.

There’s an added section in Mary Did You Know that is not in the original song, if however you were looking for a version of Ave Maria you could try this ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-U9QFxrnNWS8.html
@@CormacThompson That's very kind of you, much appreciated. I already listen to your version of Ave Maria because I love Mother Mary. Here you moved me to prayer:) 'Mary Did You Know' is very dear to me. Amazing song, theology lesson in the form of rhetorical, innocent questions, sharing admiration for God. Thank you very much for this song and God bless you.
How beautiful is this? It’s not just the grace and skill of your voice. This one has special significance and your interpretation gives this song the respect and passion it deserves. It’s lovely
I've been following you Cormac for a while and I have to say you're getting better and better! Your voice, which has always been good, has gained more security and volume. You can definitely become a great singer if you stick with it! Your voice will continue to change I think it will be tenor or baritone when you are older! Keep going I look forward to every new song from you
Well done Cormac so beautifully sung Your wonderful Angelic tones will be missed as you begin your journey into Adulthood But rest assured There is an amazing Tenor on the Horizon All the best Cormac. And thank you for sharing your beautiful gifted voice
Wow, so beautiful! 🎶 I speak Spanish, and with your excellent voice and interpretation I had no problem understanding and enjoying the lyrics. The visual elements are also very well chosen and displayed. Altogether a great video about the real Christmas. Thank you!
Życzę ci ogromnej satysfakcji i dalszych sukcesów.
This is a beautiful song, you bring enchantment to the magnificence of Mary bearing the birth of baby boy Jesus. It is your soft gentle undertones within your voice Cormac, that makes this such meaningful event to Mary and the world. You have mastered so much, I am sure your supportive team and parents will assist you to build the right balance in your voice. Yes, it can be unpredictable, but I am sure you have already the skills and experience to master this, so evident hidden in the sweetness and manner of your natural speaking voice as we pass into 2023.
Missed the premier, but listening a few minutes later... and it's brilliant. I'm really looking forward to what comes next. I think you'll still be a great singer even after your voice fully changes, just in another key. The red hair gives you super powers. ;) Fantastic job Cormac. Very moving.
I really like your interpretation of the song, I think your voice is at its best. I hope you achieve much more of what you have dreamed of being in music.
*What a beautiful vocal mastery you have despite your imminent change of voice, you have a very beautiful voice, I love it, a lot of accuracy and you transmit a certain emotion. Congratulations Cormac! Very nice clip too, we also have to talk about it* 😉🎵🎤
