Don’t forget they’re favorite: NOW PLAYING : Ya better stop all that damn crying (Ft: Before I give ya something to cry about) ─⚪───────── ◄◄⠀▐▐⠀►► 0:03 / 1:00⠀───○ 🔊⠀ᴴᴰ ⚙️ My favorite song from my black mothers honestly 🎶😌🎶
my daughter passed away in Oct. 2010 and this song was/is her favorite song. This song is the symbol of her presence. Her tombstone has "just fine" on it. Every time she appears to me or signs of her appear , it always has : "just fine" lyrics attached to it. This is a sign to me that she is "just fine" up with the Lord after all the pain and suffering she went through. I love this song and this is part of my live and my daughters life.
This is the last song I danced with my son on before he died. I smile and think of that fun memory whenever I hear it. I miss him so but this bring me joy. We had a blast that day. :)
This cd carried me through the tumultuous emotions when I left my marriage. It helped me to separate the knotted, conflicted emotions. Even now, all these years later, I dance and sing to this music, humble and grateful. She is a gift to all because she validates all the feelings and empowers through the greatest pain. Thank you, Mary J ❤️
This song is dedicated to my sister Patsy. This was her favorite song. It was played at her burial yesterday. The whole family misses you. You are no longer in pain. You fought a great fight. God has you in his loving care.🌹🌈🌹
i lost my father a couple years back. this was our song. reminds me of him every time i hear it. i didn’t know then why he’d always wanted me to listen to this song at the time. but now i finally understand, he was preparing me for the moment i lost him - that this song is all i will need to keep me going.
My father passed away in 08...my mother & he were together 40+ years married (college sweethearts) I saw a piece of her crumble...never seen her like that...then my mom began playing this song over & over...and over...life began to come back for her...I soon was able to return to my home with peace of mind that she was JUST FINE! #powerofmusic

I feel you, life is hard, but we gotta take care of the people we care about in this world, you can’t take care of the people you love if you don’t take care of yourself. Much love. 🖤🖤🖤
This song is the reason why I came out and was an openly gay teenager. Thank you Mary. You helped my life out when I needed it the most with this song. When it came out, I came out. 💜
The year is 2035, you and your family dancing to this song at the cookout, you turn to your kids and ask them, "what yall youngins know bout this?" They laugh, you laugh. Life is good
...you can tell she really liked this track. I love how MJB puts her whole self into a song when she really likes the lyrics and the music. You can feel it...decades later :-)

I saw a video today of young kids dancing from this song on social media. It made me come to RU-vid to listen to it again. Classic music doesn't go away "April 2024"
No matter how bad of a mood I'm in, this song can always make me feel better. It's just one of those timeless songs that makes you want to get up, dance, and smile :)
+Al Neal True. The director/producer of this song & video was obviously referencing or influenced by "Don't Stop...," especially Mary's "Oooh!" in the beginning.
