Mary Lattimore (Performance)
Harfistka a skladateľka Mary Lattimore žije v Los Angeles a so svojím nástrojom a efektami tvorí zasnené, až nadpozemsky éterické piesne-nepiesne. Ako jedna z popredných inštrumentálnych rozprávačiek súčasnosti má „neskutočnú schopnosť zabrnkať na strunu spôsobom, vďaka ktorému si niekto okamžite zapamätá chuť torty k piatym narodeninám,“ ako napísal magazín Pitchfork. Lattimore tiež vystupuje a nahráva s takými umelcami ako Meg Baird, Thurston Moore, Steve Gunn a Fursaxa. Na jeseň jej vyšiel oceňovaný album Goodbye, Hotel Arkada na Ghostly International, kde hosťujú napríklad Lol Tolhurst (The Cure) a Rachel Goswell (Slowdive).
Tvorbu videa z verejných zdrojov podporil Fond na podporu umenia a Nadácia mesta Bratislavy.
Harpist and composer Mary Lattimore lives in Los Angeles and creates dreamy, ethereal songs-with her instrument and effects. As one of today’s leading instrumental storytellers, she has “an uncanny ability to strum a string in a way that makes someone instantly remember the taste of a fifth birthday cake,” as Pitchfork magazine put it. Lattimore also performs and records with artists such as Meg Baird, Thurston Moore, Steve Gunn and Fursaxa. Last fall, she released her award-winning album “Goodbye, Hotel Arcade” on the label Ghostly International, featuring guest appearances by Lol Tolhurst (The Cure) and Rachel Goswell (Slowdive).
