Mari Lyn was one of the great treasures of local cable TV in New York in the 80s. When she sang my cat used to hiss, flare his tail and run back and forth in the apartment until she finished. One of her broadcasts, along with a glass of wine and a few hits on a joint is simply as good as it gets. One day in the future people will scarcely believe that talent such as hers ever in flesh and blood ever did walk the earth.

The two things I like best are - she reads how surprised she is from a script - and she practically yanks the award out of his hands.

that's it! now I know what to do to sing difficult coloratura passages, whenever I see a bunch of notes I'll just sing: "awawawawawawawawawa!" and that's it! Nice and dandy coloratura technique
