YOU ARE MINE.” Wow, indeed, The Chosen perfectly portrays the character of Mary Magdalene, from being both troubled and sorrowful to becoming a redeemed woman found by Jesus. Can't wait for the continuation of her journey in Season Four and beyond!!!!

Her character is a powerful display of God's grace and redeeming power. No place is too low, too dark, or too hidden for his light and love to reach us.

Mary represents the brokenness of all of us AND the hope of redemption. God bless everyone on The Chosen who brings us this gift of, yeah I’m gonna say it, the most important and impactful show ever made. 🙏✝️♥️

I love The Chosen’s interpretation of Mary Magdalene! Not only is she beautiful but they depicted her of having more wisdom than the 12 apostles. I pray to God everyday for a wife full of wisdom similar to The Chosen’s Mary Magdalene. 😌

Mary Magdalene is such an integral part of The Chosen story. So many beautiful scenes and messages of redemption and love. She has such wisdom. One of my fav scenes is "sometimes God sends a dove" with Matthew. ❤ Liz is so gifted! 🙌🏻

Mary of Magdala was freed of seven demons by The Lord Jesus. She was weeping when she couldn't find The Body Of The Lord Jesus. She was one of the women who came to The Tomb to anoint His Body with spices. But Mary Magdalene stayed alone near The Tomb weeping. She was the first human being to see The Lord Jesus risen from the dead with The Lord Jesus not yet presented Himself with The Father. The first name called by The Lord Jesus after The Resurrection was Mary, her name. Amazing faith of Mary Magdalene who was previously demon possessed before she was freed by The Lord Jesus.

Mary's story is so many of ours. Regardless of who you are. And you feel that through her journey on The Chosen. From guilt and shame, to forgiveness, love and reassurance. Dallas, the other writers and Liz have all done a wonderful job with such deep, complex and relatable character.

We can all relate to Mary. We all have relapsing sins in our hearts but it’s God’s Love and Grace and our Personal Relationship with God that we will eventually overcome these entrenched sins.

Makes me cry with thankfulness every time I see this or think of His loving kindness

“I’m doing everything I can day after day and I’m afraid I’m still broken. I worry I will never be enough.” Whew! Right to the gut! Yet, Jesus continues to pursue me. I’m in utter and forever in awe of Jesus’ love, mercy, and grace. Those of us least deserving of it and yet he continues to extend all the above to us. Thank you, Jesus! 🙏🏼♥️

I really connect with Mary's story ❤

Mary's story arc in The Chosen is really good. The character felt real. I'd like to see a similar video like this for my favorite character Simon Peter. What a wild ride he had so far in The Chosen.

Many times we hear of perfect casting, when describing a actor/actress and their performance. Elizabeth Tabish's portrayal of Mary Magdalene certainly fits the definition of perfect casting. She really makes you feel for the character. Sometimes it is hard to see past the beauty of an actress unless they truly can infuse their character with so much pathos that you look past the superficial. Tabish does just that. She really conveys the years of pain when afflicted with sin, the continuous struggle to overcome sin, and the tragedy of relapsing back into sinful behavior. The woman deserves an Emmy for her performance.

Mary is one of my characters in the show. I always considered her to be disciple #0 because even though she wasn’t one of the original 12, Jesus trusted her as much as He did them. And even though her relapse didn’t actually happen in the Bible, it doesn’t make reference to the Book of Hebrews and other verses that address the importance of repentance when falling back into sin. Even the best of us still lose our way. Jesus was the only perfect human.

When Jesus tells Mary that He just wants her heart, He is telling her that she needn’t return to her old ways just because she has not become perfect-and that redemption doesn’t mean that you suddenly become a perfect person. Rather, it means that you are walking on a different road now than the road you were on in the past, and that there is something meaningful at the end of this particular road-something that is joyful, rather than just sad, empty or dead. A good example would be that scene in the first season, when Mary was possessed by demons and Nicodemus was trying to exorcise her, and she suddenly looked up and said, “You have no power here…Teacher.” (That scene actually raised the hair on the back of my neck and not in a good way, either 😳) The point is that the road Mary was on in the past led nowhere, but her new road consisted of an entirely different journey (yet it was still a journey and, therefore, she should not expect immediate perfection from herself). This entire series is very, very powerful and, in my opinion, has the potential to change the entire direction of this country (and beyond) for the better. (And I don’t think that it’s an accident that it has only been released fairly recently.) ,

Her love and devotion to Jesus, never leaving his side, is the most purest love ever.

They've done a fantastic job showing how things may have happened for Mary M.! And I'm thankful she is more intuitive and mature than the other disciples! Can hardly wait to see her in Season 4!

I guess from having watched the seasons so many times, the entire stories wrapped into these snippets washed over me and - once again - my tears well up at the sweetness of Jesus and the gift of His promises.

Liz is exceptional at portraying Mary she just nails all those scenes! Every scene with Mary always makes me cry 😢 either out of sorrow or joy! The tears fall. I have to say one of my favorites was with Matthew about the tassels so open and honest and raw oh man I was just 😭😭😭 God bless you Liz for giving us such a real an raw performance of beautiful Mary M! 🙏🕊🤍

I always thought that Mary's contributions were downplayed and somewhat ignored at the Council of Nicaea. It is so heartwarming to see her played with such dignity and as a valued member of the Chosen

I like how the writers show Mary with the gift of discernment. Both of demonic influence and of people’s character in general. She tried to be so brave with Caleb 😢

Tears. Every Time. Jesus is so good. This was such an important line of events to show, because we are all there. Our traumas often led us back into sin or bad habits. Jesus is always there with His Divine Mercy. ❤‍🔥❤‍🔥❤‍🔥

I love the chosen I went to church this morning

When I saw the first episode of Season 1, I was in awe of Mary's redemption through Jesus! Suicide is not the answer when your feeling guilty or even just lonely! We should change our ways and always bring our emotions to him so that he may see us to his word!

I never caught the tie between the prayer her father showed her and what Jesus said to her outside the tavern till I watched this video. Every time I watch The Chosen, I catch something new.
