If I could talk to the monster when he was crying, I'd tell him there's no duality in anything. Even terrible times. Even terrible people. Even the fog mist is filled with non-duality. That means, the poor monster doesn't have to think himself ugly compared to beauty, they are the same. He'd soon see he is beautiful, & he'd feel beautiful & then beautiful things would occur for him. Even if they were terrible, he'd see them as not so bad, & his turmoil would be less.

I just got done reading the book 2 weeks ago. I read a comic book adaptation in high school with more modernized dialogue but I’m very impressed with how much this film stays true to the novel. I know it takes its liberties, but this is still one of my favorite adaptations of the story. I felt so bad for the monster.

The only one who was decent to him, and such a kindly blind man. When you are beaten and made fun of, or you loose so much (such as your sight), you are the nicest person to others. We live in such a narcissistic world now. People are so horrible towards one another. Always take the time out to show love and courtesy to others no matter what.

For me the most satisfying scene was when the creature killed the land lord for attacking the poor blind old man. The old man should've explained to his family that the creature didn't attack him, he protected him.

This is owed to the mind of the monster being that of an esteemed professor Victor worked for in the movie. The reason the other Frankenstein didn't know how to talk was because a defective brain was used.
