I have both protestant and Catholic background.Born and raised Catholic but had many relatives were protestant.how do you explain all the apparitions of Mary around the world over the centuries? I have personally looked into these apparitions. Hundred and thousands of people witness apparitions.the lord spoke to his mother in certain contexts for a reason. We can’t possibly know everything. We know what genesis speaks about concerning the fall in the garden and eve.we also know that after temple verses concerning Jesus being found and also remained obedient to his mother. Yes we shall worship the lord thy god and him only. Jesus being equal to the father and the spirit.but Mary should always be honored. In her own words, all nations shall call me blessed.

There is plenty of proof overwhelming proof. Egypt in the mid 1960s and estimated 250,000 people witnessed her plus their is video proof. Fatima.our lady of lords in France and so many more apparitions. I challenge you to look into these things intently. There is surely something to them, and it shouldn’t surprise us that the Lord would still be using his own mother to bring the world to him.

@@Joe-yy7mu I look into the Bible intently, not for the ghost of a dead woman. Jesus is the one who rose again, not Mary, Jesus Christ ascended into heaven, not Mary. Jesus then is the one who is alive, not Mary. 1 Timothy 2:3-5 This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. Praying to Mary is a deception and well hooked bait from our adversary! Non of the apostles and later martyrs never bowed down to icons and idols read the early church history and see that all modern so called Christian's ! read the Ten Commandments ! You are deceived by your church 🙏😭🙏 SHE called JESUS HER SAVIOR. SINLESS MORTALS DO NOT NEED A SAVIOR and ... GOD's Word never calls her 'Mother of God' though she bore in her body God the Son. She, like true, born-again* believers in HIM AND HIS Word not man's, are holy ONLY because their true salvation ... paid for by JESUS' blood sacrifice on that cross ... covers their human sins ... not by any human 'goodness.' * JESUS said we must be born of water physically (the birth waters (not s prinkling😅 a baby) and spiritually by GOD's Holy Spirit. (Write back one example of a baby being baptized in GOD's Word.) Its just not there! Its just not part of being born again. It is can outward sign of a new believer in obedience to Him and picturing His death, burial, and resurrection. Millions of poor Catholics are and have been deceived by unholy religious hierarchy.🙏😭🙏😢🙏😭🙏 Rphesians 2-8-9 NO HUMAN RELIGIOUS OR GOOD DEED "WORKS" CAN SAVE. NOT ONE. Romans 10:9-10 ! @@gkarenstratton Are Catholics born again? And as far as your question about being “born again”. Yes, we are born again in baptism, through water and spirit. Not by simply making a proclamation of accepting Jesus as our “personal Lord and Savior” and reciting some “sinners prayer”. These are Protestant traditions, not found in the Bible. Baptism gives the faithful a parallel to Jesus's death for man. ... Jesus so strongly commanded the importance of baptism because his believers will receive His true gift of everlasting Life in the Kingdom of God when Jesus returns (Luke 1:32-33).

@@gkarenstratton Martin Luther Sadly to say that Luther didn't introduced reforms to the Church but deformed the single unity of the Church by introducing his man made heretical doctrine of Sola Fide and Sola Scriptura which are both unbiblical...the result of these? ..spiritual anarchy never ending splintering and among protestants/fundamentalist sects without any central authority other than themselves...40,000 plus splintering and bickering denominations?..Where is the ONE FOLD and the ONE SHEPHERD in Protestantism? "Has Christ been divided up?" 1Cor 1:13....Where's One, Faith, One Lord and One Baptism Ephesians 4 in protestantism? "There is one GOD and one Christ, and one Church, and one Chair founded on Peter by the Word of the Lord. @@gkarenstratton Some say praying to Mary is the work of the devil : It doesn’t make sense, if praying to Mary is the work of the devil , why would she tell the three children during her apparition in Fatima to pray this prayer? Is the devil confused ? 🙏🏻🌺O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us! 🙏🙏🙏

This sermon is grossly misleading. That Jesus called his mother woman those not imply what is conveyed in the message, this is what we call typology in theology as Mary is a type of Eve just as Jesus is a type of Adam. Jesus talking about who is his mother, brothers and sisters does not mean a disregard for his mother or does it imply that she doesn't understand or listen to or obey God as this sermon presents but in a sense which according to the sermon is correct, is that we can be called brothers of Jesus and so on even more when we do God's will and Mary did so as the sermon concludes with. Remember when Jesus was called good teacher he said only God is good? Does this mean that Jesus isn't good? If by the lure of the devil through Eve Adam was tricked to sin then through the obedience of Mary to God Jesus was led to the cross which is our victory as Christians and this sermon rightly points it out that Mary didn't not interfere with the devine will but allowed the sword to pierce her soul so that the secret thoughts of many might be laid bare. Mary's motherhood of God isn't just tied to the physical relationship with Christ but even to the spiritual relationship because like her the preacher here hopes that he and his congregation would learn to submit to God like Mary did. Thanks be to God! Now, if Mary is a type of Eve and Eve was created sinless then Mary must someone through divine Providence be created sinless, how? By enjoying before hand the cleansing power of the cross and through this the new Adam, Jesus could not contract the defects of the sins of Adam. While, Adam failed in instructing Eve about the will of God and so sinned, Jesus, the new Adam succeeded in instructing Mary, the new Eve about the will of God and she bore these things in her heart - but what things? The words of God! And the bible urges us to meditate day and night on the word of God. First duo, Adam and Eve were created sinless and failed the second duo Jesus and Mary were equally created sinless and fulfilled perfectly their God assigned tasks. I would close with this - God glorifies whoever he chooses and humbles the proud. Mary, the mother of Jesus is so precious to Jesus that he had to make provision for her physical needs at the cross, so that she can carryout her work of instructing the disciples. No one who turns to Mary is ever deceived to hell (do your findings) because she is the only one in the Bible apart from God who said listen to HIM!

Please, do not hold Mary in high regard. She had an important role to play, and her obedience to the Lord was vital to that role, but the Lord God Almighty does what He wills, and will not share His glory with another. He is above all, and Lord of all.

@@brandonbrake5104 Please do not hold your pastor, mother and father in high regard as God does not will it! Doesn't the second commandment urge us to honour our parents? and much more our spiritual parents? Moreover, does any human or creature have glory? It is God's glory that we share because as we do God's will his glory is bestowed on us freely by him and when this glory is upon you men would see you and give glory to God. Romans 8:17, Colossians 3:4 etc

@@ephraimbernard5773 What? I’m probably not as smart as you, so I do not use excellent words of speech, so please simplify it in less words if you can. Though, if I understand a little about Scripture, I do know that Mary found favor in His sight, leading to her being allowed to carry His Son, and give birth to Him. Yet, Jesus was saying “woman” not “mother” MAYBE because of the spiritual context, and He has no godly mother. I may be missing the point there, but at the cross He did the same, saying “woman, behold your son” telling her that John would be in His place so as to not leave her widowed and alone with no one to care for her, though He had earthly brothers, they had not yet received Christ until after His resurrection. YES we honor our parents, as the LORD has commanded us to do. If we love Christ, we keep His commandments. What is your point in all of this?

Dear Rose Mundee, I beg to differ with you that Mary did have other children "after" Jesus was born. Mary (Miriam in Hebrew) and her husband Joseph did have at least 6 children together, see Matthew 13:53-57 where their other children are named, see also Mark 3:31-35, Luke 8:19-21, Acts:12-14, John 7:1-5. If you insist that they did not you are not believing the Holy Scriptures, the very words of God. You might consult the Greek interlinear bible where you can see for yourself the definition you need to distinguish between brothers and sisters as in being of the Christian faith and brothers and sister. who are siblings literally "from the same womb". If you still are not convinced then nothing will convince you, read carefully as you study the word of God. God only borrowed the womb of Mary then she joined her husband and produced their own offsping.
