Renowned banker and accountant Mary Vilakazi's appointment as FirstRand CEO, has been described as transformative for the banking sector. She takes over from incumbent CEO, Alan Pullinger, on the first of April next year. The lender has announced a number of shakeups in the group, which owns First National Bank among other financial services.
