the fact he was suffering a tramatic brain injury after being punched and continued to restrain him just boggles my mind. These officers did the right thing.
He wouldn't have went to prison. Probably wouldn't have served any time I doubt mommy would press charges. At worst he'd get a short stay in county jail until he decided to attack the cops
Hearing the Mom scream my baby my baby and seeing that officer down was just horrendous and brought tears to my eyes. I have NO sympathy for the son, he got exactly what he deserved. Prayers for a speedy recovery for the officer and peace for the Mom.
Go so far? He was resisting but up til he bit the cop's hand there was no reason to shoot him. He could have been on drugs, off his meds. It's not ok to just shoot someone when they fight back a little bit.
When I was 16yo I got into a fight with a kid at school..... He bit me in the shoulder so hard my whole body went numb.. 2 days later I was in the hospital with a 105 degree fever that wouldn't go down... 10 days in the hospital .!!! Almost killed me....human bites are no joke.!
Far right pieces of **** all 4 of you, the three policemen had all the time to hit him in the face with their guns, hit his jaw, hit his head, a hit with a gun incapacitates you and dizzies you, the pain is so bad he would have to let go eventually, even allowing him to bite the chunk of finger off his hand would have been better than killing him, but since none of you truly value life and/or are racists who don't value the life of certain people you don't look for ways to preserve it, you support lethally shooting someone for a bite.
This guy got exactly what he was asking for. If you want to act like wild animal then you're going to get treated like one. My heart absolutely breaks for that mom, but this guy was a complete danger and the cops didn't have any choice.
To bad they didn't have the SKILLS to knock him out or choke him out, problem solved. Never a reason to kill an unarmed man, unless there's no skills... aparently none of these officers had any Martial Arts skills... WHY NOT!???
Those dogs should be banned. There is nothing in that mexican trailer park worth protecting with dogs like that but they all have two of them. Anyways human bites, espasically african ones are very dangerous. He could literally die from that.

Gosh that poor officer. His whole life changed forever after this day. I hope he is getting better, it’ll be a long road for recovery but I hope he’s taken care of.
Cops didn't do anything wrong in this video. The guy was perfectly fine with Jumping On a Woman and tried to fight the cops but he lost. It's sad but he gave the officers no other choice.
Well, the did do something wrong - they let that suspect bite the cop’s finger. It’s something they’ll have to talk about as to how to avoid it next time. There will be a next time, unfortunately.
Of course they did nothing wrong. They did their jobs and took down a wild animal who attacked them. Why do people feel the need to validate that it was justified? We can all see the video.

If you call the cops on your violent family member you have to be prepared for the possibility that they might be injured or killed. If your not willing for that possibility then don't call the cops
@Rafael Tobozo Tough choice. Either continue to risk your life, or risk the possibility of your son being shot, or killed. There's no other choice when someone's behavior is dangerously erratic.
@Rafael Tobozo realize if you aren't in a life or death situation then do not call because if you call them, you better be ready for this potential outcome.

I could tell that the officer was in an immense amount of pain from the blows to the head. That was awful to listen to. I’m so sorry he had a TBI after this. He was trying to help that mother, and that POS ruined his life.
I felt the same way on everything you said. All those officers were there to help her get out of that situation with her son holding her hostage😰 I pray that the officer is doing better now as I’d love to hear an update on him😞🙏🏻 The last I heard that the Mom was suing the police department for killing her “baby” 🙄 that made me very angry. It’s like.. ummm.. M’am you call 911 for the police to come and save you from your crazy son as you were being held against your will by your son and once the police got there they didn’t take anytime to hesitate whatsoever! They went straight to where the situation was and rushed in without even blinking an eye! And they got you out so fast and got you to safety. They did their job on that part in which you should be very thankful for🙏🏻 the policemen now had to save his life from your son just like he saved yours as there’s no telling what your son could or would’ve done to you. I’m sorry for what you’re going through but IMO Justice was won with all officers involved.
@@conservativedragon apparently you didn't read the multiple captions in the video stating the officer suffered a traumatic brain injury. Couldn't you hear the officer coughing on his own blood?!???!
As someone who suffered a traumatic brain injury and spent his junior and senior year of high school in a rehab facility, TBIs are life changing. Anyone who thinks deadly force wasn't warranted here needs to have their head examined for a brain injury. Not only was the biting of his hand justifiable use of force, the beating the officer was taking was justifiable use of deadly force. You do NOT have to let someone chew off your finger and end your career and alter your life permanently before defending yourself. People do not have a right to violently attack someone. You do however have a right to defend yourself against bodily harm. The tasers were not effective as seen several times in the video, OC spray could not be deployed due to the close proximity of the other officers nor less lethal rounds at that distance. My heart breaks for the mother who was not only held hostage by a man she gave life to and provided for, but she had to also watch her adult son attack police officers and force them to give him a swift departure from this earth. A man who hurts his own mother doesn't deserve to have a loving mother.
At least 3 officers on scene. They've been informed that the suspect has assaulted a victim and is keeping her against her will. As soon as they identify the suspect and hostage, protocol should be to separate the two safety and quickly. Before breaching, it should be established how to move in. Lack of communication and protocol shows their incompetence as the officer in the back pushes one of the officers in the front out of the way and one officer takes entirely too long fumbling to swich between his real gun and taser. As soon as the suspect complied and layed on the ground the first time, 2 officers should have had tasers trained on him while one moved in to handcuff. Instead, the 2 officers in front can be seen with only one hand on their weapon at critical moments in the video which is something an untrained child would do. As soon as the suspect made the action to get up and return to the victim he should have been tased. As soon as the victim separated herself from the suspect he should have been tased. In no reality should the cop in front have distanced himself from the suspect when he charged at the victim into the hallway. That officer should have put himself between the victim and the subject and engaged in hand-to-hand. There is no reason this situation should have escalated to the point where the suspect was shot and killed. This is simply we the consequence of poor police training and incompetence. It's sad that the police got injured but it was entirely preventable.
@@Roddy556 No it's a video about a shooting, not about tasers failing. There are more videos of police shootings without any tasers deployed than there are with.
And yet people want to make it illegal for officers to defend themselves including the use of deadly force when necessary. It truly is a sad thing when a criminals life is valued more then those sworn to serve and protect. At the end of the day, people need to realize that officers have just as much right to come home safe to their families as anyone else. Yes Im sorry for the mother who lost her son. But he brought it on himself because of the choice he made to become combative and attack a police officer.

It's mind blowing to me that people still choose to scream police brutality after a suspect acts like this causing an officer to HAVE to take legal actions. I'm in no way saying police brutality doesn't exist because it does. But a lot of people don't want to admit that the police were actually in the right & protecting themselves or others. It's sad when it ends up coming down to a person losing their life but people need to learn not to act like this. If you're going to break the law, at least don't try to fight the police when its time to pay the consequences.
Thats cuz you seem oblivious to the fact that suspects can be drugged or in other special states that cause their behavior to be the way it is. Police officers always seem to be overwhelmed even in 4 vs 1 situations in which the suspect should easily be stopped without killing Like who trained these officers?
“What do you need?" I need you to get involved and not keep asking the same thing while hanging out on the stairs. That would be the last call I ever go on with her. Useless.

She did all she could. Women should not be police officers
Small confined space, officers in line of fire due to said space, both officers had the suspect as best they could and she couldn’t get involved due to them already having him down. It’s not that she didn’t wanna do anything it’s that there wasn’t much she could do without hurting them or herself

Exactly she’s standing there pointing at the guy saying help him help him while she’s doing nothing at all. She needs way more training before being aloud to respond to a call about violent men. She’s only putting the others at risk getting in the way and distracting them. Pointing fingers telling the guys to help the injured cop when she’s standing right next to him doing nothing and she should be the one helping him since she is of no help in restraining the animal anyways but she’s so arrogant she’s telling others to do it while she stands there asking what are we doing. People like her should be restricted from dealing with dangerous criminals
That’s why he passed out I think he hit his head hard when he bum rushed him to the ground he then go up and the adrenaline cops have that’s what made him continue but once he started biting his hand he lost it that made him go unconscious from all the pain he was experiencing including his head….poor office and poor mother had to see her baby go this way but he was definitely either on something or has some type of mental disorder and needs medication for it…..rip

As a 911 operator and Police Dispatcher, it's these types of calls that mess with you. You know an officer is in trouble but you can't see what's happening. You can hear the shots fired broadcast and you hear the officer screaming. You dont know whos hurt and how bad. You want to help, but all you can do is send more units and wait to hear what happened. Dispatch did a good job closing the channel quickly and staying calm. Thankfully the sergeants were paying attention and thank God the officer was okay

@@Tdwl713 hope you never have to do that but you're right. We need cops that can take on big people. If cops were more passionate about martial arts & shooting they would be better. Of course better pay and longer training.
@@Tdwl713 He probably would thank you in the end for saving his life. Everyone knows what would happen if the police got involved during one of his episodes.
The screams of this mother who was in fear for her life from her son and to see how out of control and dangerous he was is heartbreaking. I pray the officer who sustained the majority of this animals rage recovers quickly and doesn't suffer life long damage to his finger from being almost bitten off. To hear his screams of pain and agony was horrific. This officer was truly courageous to have suffered a traumatic brain injury from being beaten in the head and having his finger almost bitten off and still able to stop this maniac. Only an animal would attack his mother and then try to bite another persons finger off!
Or a mother who has a adult child with mental health issues would care about the life of said child, you clearly don’t understand a mothers love, and truth be told there were other ways they could have stopped him from biting, they didn’t have to kill him
I’m from DC/MD. This appears to be a classic PCP incident. So glad mom is ok and the officers. I also feel bad for the dude - he was literally out of his mind. Had to be put down though.
My uncle retired from Stockton pd and one story I remember him telling me years ago was a guy pulling his hands through hand cuffs while high on PCP. I hate drugs. It's truly a shame that mankind figured out how to synthesize substances that our brain desires so strongly. I've had my own battles and if there's a devil he lives inside drugs. The pharmaceutical companies should be held liable for lying about addiction while sitting back making billions of dollars off the misery of accident victims being told by a "medical professional" that they will be ok taking pain medication all while the pharmaceutical companies get rich. Pharmaceutical companies spend an estimated $20 billion a year on marketing to physicians, while prescription drug sales top $300 billion.
@@WillaHerrera your a funny guy your responsibility to your own drug addiction dude lol hold pharmaceutical company responsible for what you did to yourself lol ok buddy im sure you get plenty of government assistance too
@@jackmeovf4010 lol I've worked my entire life. Everyone has their own life story. I've seen good people struggle to get free from drugs. I have a task for you. Go figure out the difference between the word "you're" and "your"
