To this day I still think this was the biggest daylight robbery the cheer world has ever seen. I have so much love for CEA but I really think f5 deserved gold
You can tell just by the applause on how much the crowd liked it. Everyone was going CRAZY during the dance for F5. But when you watch the video for CEA, when they dance, it no where as close to how much excitement is going on for F5. Those girls are FIERCE;) and that crowd knows it!
i applaud the people who come up with these routines. There's so much going on, it takes a quick eye to think of stuff like these. Love F5, y'all werk. Sometimes I really wish I was a cheerleader instead of a dancer..
God the energy in this routine is so unreal. The amount of difficulty with the stunts, jumps, tumbling, pyramid, and then to finish it off with a dance that still was high in energy is just incredible.
CEA, F5 and Stars are all amazing teams with great talent! I'm 100% an F5 fan, and I have been all season. This routine and music is going to be hard to top! I have no bitter feelings towards SE for winning just because they did leave it on the mat, and their routine was great! It really showed the innovative direction this sport is heading.
675 comment and f5 is known for there difficulty and there execution,there tumbling looks like a coed team and they have great flexibility f5 is amazing they got second but they where really good this year SE won because they had the judges taste with skill and the hot everything and looked sharp f5 or die
do you want to know how much i look up to all these girls AND kelcie?! They are an amazing team beacase of how much time and dedication they put into this team. Anyone in the world could be as good as them if the just tried hard enough..................>3
@drive07 I so agree!!! I am happy because you expressed it better than i would have. They truly are the most talented team along with panthers that competed at worlds. It's really too bad.
Wow Taryn has to be one of the most overall talented athletes in the sport!! One of the head tumblers, second flyer from the center, and point jumper!!
Standing back handspring to double full gives more points than standing fulls. And I think that all three teams were SO GOOD. And it really was a matter of who hit it or not. I LOVE CEA F5 AND WCSS :)
i wish my small town cheer squad could do that =3 but we are a small squad of 9 without any funding from the school. cheerleading disapeared from our school untill my grade pushed to get it back. it was a stugle but we did it =) were doing minor stunts like basic lifts and jumps but noting as beautiful as that. i wish i had the oportunity those girls do. id do anything to be able to do that. you guys are truly lucky.
Yes they won last year, but Senior Elite won in 2010 and World Cup had a 3-peat going on from '07-'09. The last time F5 won was in 2005, if I remember correctly. I do believe the F5 coaches have a working system now. F5 had the highest raw score and it shows. You can bet that they will bring it next year.
I've been cheering for a while but I've never been into the famous cheer gyms and teams. But I started watching videos and getting more interested and I think my favorite teams/gyms are cheer extreme elite and Maryland twisters F5. Anyone have any teams to suggest? I still like the others I just think those are my favorite. Haha. :)
I am a HUGE senior elite fan!!!! But...F5 SHOULD have won worlds 2012. They have so much energy and passion and senior elite I think had a lot more passion in 2010 and 2011!!!!!!!! F5 your amazing!!!! You guys should have won in 2012!!!!
Both teams did very well. F5 did have a higher score than senior elite day 2, but had 4 touchdowns. I personally didn't think SE was gonna win. But their routine overall was perfect. Not the slightest mistake. And F5 really did win, just without deductions. Can't wait to see them this year!
@Indigo Meyers SE had 6 flyers do the complete 1st stunt sequence where f5 only had 3. & their routine was just as organized & visual. F5 just had more difficulty in the tumbling. Senior elite won fair & square just like f5 did in 2011. Did they only win because of the judges' person taste?
I heard about that, F5 tumbling needs to be even more extreme. But both teams have really good tumbling passes, so its going to be up to the stunting and dancing.
There was a 1(?)-point deduction for a touchdown after a double twist, and a 3(?)-point deduction after a double twist when the girl's knee touched the floor.
So quick questionf rom someone who's just getting into the cheerleading world, what do the judges usually score on and how many teams compete in worlds? Just wondering, thanks! :)
Their tumbling is crazy and the pyramid was amazing too...the only part i dont like is how only one girl does jumps to full. The dance was really good...they deseved to win this is flawless
because CEA's stunts have an insanely high difficulty, and you never see them just standing still on the mat for long, the choreography on senior elise is just amazing! F5 are great true though :)
