Sounds like it hurts to admit but thank you for using your eyes instead of bias goggles. They need to clean the rules up around the cage, its a bit convoluted
Wow. You won't see a better February college lax game. It was like a late season game. Cuse lost focus after the Leo goal overturn and delay. Heck of a game. Exciting and entertaining. Fwiw, thought Leo goal call in OT, correct.
Incredible early season matchup. Fourteen saves by McNaney plus 6 points (2G, 2A) from Erksa and 4 from Koras. Maryland wins the ground ball war with Zappi leading the way (4 GBs, 3 Caused Turnovers), Wierman won 16 of 29 FOs. For 'Cuse, the Dome was loud and proud: 48 shots but only 26 on target. Rhoa ad Leo are the real deal. Would love to see a rematch on Memorial Day weekend.
tough lost for cuse great game and as die hard cuse fan it was right call according to the rule. I do believe they need to change it tho as leo fell short of goal mouth n slid into it (really just his glove was on line not across it but on it which counts either way to rule) but ball was in net way before he ended sliding into it n wasn’t pushed but was contact plus guys falling on him which could of caused the sliding into goal mouth. But the rule is the rule need to change it a little bit. But really game should have ended before the timeout before leo no goal when english had a close range open looked n shot it low and wide. Plus thompson just missed more than couple open looks by playing catch with maryland goalie. Overall very impressed with improvement of cuse. Let’s go orange
Don't forget how every game he talks about 5 guys who are "underrated" and of course he also goes on about the alpha males. It's just tiresome. Can't even watch games with him commentating.
Another stop, power play. I can’t stand when they say that. Is it offensive to say Man up? Or are they catering to the neophyte fan whose reference is hockey? Are the attack men forwards?! That’s my rant
I disagree we use this at the collegiate level too, the difference is when you always split, or throw a different dodge, the defence becomes comfortable, and then you can speed dodge right by them down the alley
When they turned that 1 min to 2 non-releasable, i about shat myself. Guy was playing on-ball d and shit shaft hit the bottom inch of the facemask. I get it, but on what planet is a regular 1 minute penalty not sufficient. 2 2 minute full time penalties is a gift from the lax gods that cuse squandered. Soft as lard
@@nateb4543it’s less about what is sufficient or not. They are literally going by the book. Get mad at the associate creating the rules. Not the referees. Notice how the ref said “direct contact”. In the book, direct contact is automatically 2 min full time. Indirect is 1 minute full time. That is the literal words in the rule book.
@Hasina1st ya, so per the rules i guess its correct ans my issue is with the rules. I think they forget how fas trhe game is and how difficult it is to have virtually any hit rhat is legal. I think a good change would be from "direct" to "intentional". Im all for punishing an intentional, high hit, they are very dangerous and ive got the scars to prove it. But to have any kind of contact with a ball carrier thats shorter or has his knees slightly bent without indirect contact seems unicorn like. A 2 minute, non-releasable penalty can change the course of a close game, doesn't seem to be making things any safer, just more man up/man down
