Sooo glad to see this as a Bengalurean. It is an emotion for us! Just a suggestion, instead of adding potato, some street vendors also use boiled peas while grinding the paste.thank u so much for this video ❤❤❤ u r the bestest!
Perfect... I feel so proud being a bengalurian that even our city has such a huge contribution to the chat world... 👏 🙌. One small thing, there is one version of adding a very small scoop of thick dahi as a topping in the end. And that just enhances the whole experience... maybe you can try it sometime.
I'm from Bengaluru. We regularly make Masala Puri with almost the same ingredients you have used & we eat this with Pani that is used in panipuri❤ Everyone must prepare & savour this delicious chat❤ Thank you chef❤🙏
Namaskara Chef... its so wonderful to see you doing the recopies in the authentic way,, Masala puri is the go to starter among the Chaats, followed by Pani puri , Bhel puri, Sev puri, Dahi puri, Aloo puri etc.. you made it so perfectly.
Caption alli Bengaluru anta nodoke khushi agtide. First of all, my special heartful thanks for mentioning that. I usually dont use a comment section, but that made me to write this. All ur recipes looks very tasty n i absolutely love the way u make them. Very neat n hygiene. And the tips u share while preparing r really helpful. U hav been the most fav! Coming to this recipe, its absolutely appetizing, exactly how we get here. U can use some cooked peas while grinding for thick consistency. Also, while assembling, no need of too much peas. My most favorite chat ever is masalpuri. Thanks for sharing. All the best chef !
I am having something similar for so long in Chennai. Didn't know it has Bangalore origins.. that flavored water is heavenly!.. Thanks for sharing chef! ❤
Really Thanks For Comming To Know The Truth Similarly There Are Many Delicacies Savouries Which Have Been Originated Created Discovered In KARNATAKA By KANNADIGAS Few Of Them Are Idli Dosa Medu Vada Chiroti Pheni Masala Vada And Many More Try It ಜೈ ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಜೈ ಕನ್ನಡ
Chef, you are on point on this recipe and saying Bengaluru 😊 Yes you should only use the un puffed poori’s for this because you need poori to be crispy even after take the liquid Masala on top. If you use the thin poori then it will be soggy to eat.
Masala puri is the brand chat of Bengaluru and Karnataka. Just like how there is papadi chat, basket chat, puchka, aloo tikki chat in different regions of our country, Masala puri holds its identity in Bengaluru and other regions of Karnataka.
Thank you Chef! For Bangaloreans like me, Masala Puri is not just a chaat, it's an emotion. You did it so well. Just one quip, our m.puri vendors also add a little sweet chutney and a dollop of curd on it.

Recipe is awesome.. I would like to add one suggestion. While grinding the masala, you can add little green peas that u had boiled and then grind it. This will add more taste.
Hi, I'm from Bengaluru. Thank you soo much for sharing my favorite chat recipe. Looking at the video itself, my mouth was watering. Soooo nicely you have used the word Bengaluru, thanks a lot sir.

I’m from Bangalore. Can’t wait to prepare. Didn’t know it is this simple to make. I am a great fan of masal puri. Will tell you how it turned out after I prepare. Thanks a lot for sharing
I am from Bangalore and thank you for uploading this . Mostly the green colour one is more common. Without chutneys it seems incomplete in flavour. Also, peas should be simmered in gravy and the absorbed peas are very tasty .
