Masasa Beach is a perfect example of nature's beauty, nestled along the beautiful coastline of Batangas province in the Philippines. It is famous for its stunning features, including soft white sand and mesmerizing turquoise waters, making it a perfect destination for beach lovers and nature lovers.
We went here on March 30-31, 2024 (it was Sabado De Gloria & Easter Sunday) and we will not be disappointed if there's a lot of people going to this island. But guess what, it is not much as we expected.
We stayed at Searenity Homestay at Brgy. Papaya. The place is so nice, convenient and can accommodate up to 20 pax. Actually we were 24 pax then and still able to sleep comfortably as they had a lot of extra mattresses.
Our transient is one boat away from the main beach of Masasa but the best thing is, there's a Coral beach in front of our transient and it has the best sunset I've ever seen. You can freely stay on their floating balsa and cottages in front of the beach. Walk around the place with lots of beautiful coconut trees and relaxing view of the sea. Also, life guards are watching everywhere so you will feel safe. I'd like to commend Ms. Apple for being hands on and always reachable whenever we needed anything. As in anything like ice, drinking water, charcoal etc.
PS. There will be a different vlog for Coral Beach in Bgry. Papaya.
Going back, we went to the Main Beach as early as 6:00 a.m to prevent the crowd and I think that's a good idea. We were able to snap an instragrammable shots. This place has no entrance fee. We just paid ₱800 for a big nipa hut. 🛖 (6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) and ₱200 for the BBQ griller. If you're a small group, alone or couple, it's best to bring your tent, picnic mat or beach chair instead of renting a nipa hut.
Talking about lagoon, it has that turquoise water and jaw dropping rock formations. This place is what I enjoyed the most! Every corner is picturesque. 📷

₱162..........Ferry (Montenegro)
₱5..........Terminal Fee
₱100.........Environmental Fees

Other & optional:
1. Your transportation going to Anilao Port. For us, we have our own vehicles (₱300 parking fee for 4 wheels)

4. Snorkeling (₱200/pax)

Sa transient po, it's best to book ahead para all set na pag dating don and usually they have contacts or own boat and help you get to the main beach masasa. :)
