@danielnelson3136 there seems to be a misconception here that this video is an attempt to convince you and others to chase one thing over another. Nobody cares what you chase and we wish you success in your chase
@@thehater6189 Firstly, financial independence and status is more important for personal development and spiritual growth because if your financial situation sucks, your development slows down and halts. Good luck self actualizing or making life improvements when you're poor, in debt, mortgages, loans and bills to pay because you've invested in wrong places and your finance situation not good. Second, I'm talking to the other guy, not you.
Andrew will start shit for sure. That's all he does on his podcasts is start shit. Andrew is the biggest scumbag on the internet. Dilahunty wouldn't even debate Andrew because Andrew couldn't resist getting personal. Andrew thrives on starting shit. Just because he is a fire arms instructor doesn't mean he would shoot wes or anybody else.
Just a heads up, while Wes Watson is yes a materialist and individualist guy, and a bit of an alpha bro, if you know anything about Andrew Wilson and his background you'd side with Wes Watson. Why? Because Andrew Wilson is a Christian nationalist, but also was known as Big Papa Fascist. Why? Because he supported a few Neo Nazis many years ago, before he got banned and censored heavily for his far right views. For that and cozing up to Nazism, I'd side with Wes any day, and glad Wes ain't apologizing to people like that!
11:14, that story isn't to say materialism is bad, it's purpose is to tell us how easy it is for men to lose their way because of it. Chrisitianity frowns at wealth because men are prone to pride. A very wealthy person easily lets that get to their head, and they start thinking they are the shit, in other words, they become their own god. If you can be wealthy and still remain humble and accept that it is all God's doing, there is no problem with that.
Partly true, but the last thing I want to hear that from is some guy called Big Papa Fascist, some Christian nationalist who years ago supported Nazism views. Last person I'd want to dialogue or debate, or side with considering the atrocities of Nazi Germany in WW2.
@@anotheryoutubeaccount8122 I don’t need to watch 30 minute videos about masculinity 🤣 I already know Wes is a liar he’s from the California prison side of RU-vid
So all those Medal of Honor winners without who weren't jacked are not real men by this guys definition. Real men don't beat up inferior guys, they have nothing to prove. Good analysis H8R.
Most brain dead take ever, especially in conflicts like WW2 where all sides were very well armed, bullets and bombs don't care about who's got the biggest muscles.
in 2017 I met a group of dweebs who took these kinds of gurus and message seriously. All they did was portray a lifestyle online that they didn’t live. It was fake. They did the world ventures thing and forex exchange. Just live your life and enjoy the company of your friends and family. These guys take advantage of innocent teens who are not exposed to major city lifestyles and they sell them fake dreams and unrealistic expectations.
I had ten years in doing pickup and casually keeping up on the red pill community. I got mucho vag without all these bells and whistles. All these guys are conmen. Those fresh & Fit guys look like they should be driving for Uber . In essence this is alpha vs gamma
@@EastHumbled The Hater didn’t pick up on the poop stained pants in the behind shot of Wes. Look, the second guy had really good points. Some guys have to go through a journey to realize material goods don’t really matter much.
My thing is everyone in their own was is materialistic in their own way. However Wes Watson is the worst example of what masculinity is supposed to be. And personally I have no need to take advice from an ex-con
The story you told about Jesus telling the man to go and sell all he has is correct. BUT, the moral of the story was not to reject materialism. If you read the gospels in their entirety, you would know that the rich man couldn't do it because his wealth was his god. Jesus being God was exposing the fact that this man had money as his god(idol). The first 2 commandments in the torah tell the people to have no other gods before Him....
Right. That's what materialism is bro. When one considers material things as being more important than spiritual things or nonmaterial things. This is another way of saying wealth was his god
Right. If I’m not mistaken (correct me if I’m wrong plz) when Andrew said it’s not against Christian ethics he means it’s okay to buy yourself nice things but don’t worship and idolize them and make them the most important things in your life. I think I’ve seen Andrew speak on this topic in one of this debates and I’d say he’s right with what he said
@@thehater6189 The point: You said in the video that a former convict wouldn't keep the same energy with a Boxer, when a former convict has had to keep the same energy with actual fighters far more dangerous that boxers. It was a ridiculous statement, hence the "Point". Boxers aren't some type of ultimate fighter, you watch too much tv.
The core of Wes Watson’s philosophy is self mastery. It’s actually very much Kung Fu mindset. When he is open about himself he admits he is manic and needs the massive self control to keep from going off and doing violence.
Wes is hyper competitive. He does not know how to be chill. They have one mode, driven by basic insecurity. As a kid they were in an environment that had negative criticism.
This guy said he doesn’t really believe in God. But says thank God he’s never experienced being homeless & thank God he still has his Dad… this dude is also funny af…
11:15 Actually the passage in question is a wealthy man asking what he should do to follow God, to be accepted into heaven. Christ tells him to keep the commandments, etc. He asks what else. Christ tells him I he wants to do more then give up his wealth. The man didn’t want to do that. So the problem wasn’t having money. It was his attachment to his wealth.
@@thehater6189 The point is Christianity does not mean you cannot be wealthy and Christian. It means not making wealth and material possessions higher than spirituality. Many, but not all, people become wealthy to the exclusion of all else. They pursue success and money at the expense of friends, family and their own well being. “For what shall it profit a man if he gains the world and loses his soul?” This of referring to gaining wealth at the expense of your soul. In other words becoming wealthy isn’t in itself a sin. It’s how you do it. Some do so through honest labor and innovation. That is not losing your soul to gain the world.
@cariganpintalba9498 no one said that christianity says you shouldn't be wealthy. That wasn't the point. The point was that christianity conflicts with materialism.
What he was saying is what exposed him to the world. Family is far more important than wealth. Westrogen has a gf with 3 kids. Not his. Then he's going to go and try and clown others? Nah. Also, Wes did 1 month here in San Diego. Not the 18 months he was saying. His view of life is a view of misery
6'4 240 I know a bunch of dude my size would have a great fight with me but I can hold my own and I have official wins in 2 sanctions. But I have a ton of "unsanctioned" bouts lol
No actually having the experience base is CRUCIAL to understanding reality, followed by a knowledge base. Direct experience is very important in life and even in success, defined as 'achievements of goals, aims, purpose and objectives.'. For example, I didn't know much about myself or my ideology/biases, but I have a fantasy of being the greatest artist, say musician, then it's important to pick up an instrument and play, see how the sensory experiences feel for me actually instead of fantasies and theories about musical theory and the musical instrument being played. Having experiences there in that context super important. Another instance, say I want to be a writer or a programmer, and have fantasies from Steve Jobs or Steven King's careers, if I don't actually take action and behave, practice, even think/feel like a writer or a coder, and see how the process effects my well being instead of just believing or having fantasies about the domain I want to pursue that SUPER IMPORTANT! I'd argue there's enough grey area and wide margins for failure and learning to occur, more so than this hypothetical of a Nazi police yet you don't want to be a Nazi, or putting your hand in lava because experience is so important always. NO! Stop with the silly binary extremes of experiences, there's a spectrum and range there that needs to be factored into your argument!
Nah, that isn't how arguments work. You need only one extreme example to illustrate how stupid the argument is. That is what I did. Youre out here talking about something different lol. Nobody said don't do anything. Wes, however, would say there is nothing gained from yoy strumming an instrument because you haven't experienced anything special. You're not Slash because you strummed a guitar. I am saying that someone can intellectually work out what it is like to be x without having experienced x.
@@thehater6189 Right, and I'm saying that without having experienced x, in an experience base of your life, you cannot easily intellectualize or mentally work out what x might be like. Ask a child to intellectually work out how to drive a car or repair a car, well? That child won't be able to. Why? You need both the knowledge base and experience base of a mechanic that deals with car parts, see? You need both a working knowledge base and working experience base for life as both interplay with each other. You have a fetish for logic, reasoning, rationality, atheism, logician, determinism, science, and intellectualization, and that fetish and bias is making you devalue emotions, intuition, and experiences as crucial aspects of life improvement. Also, *you. Also, screw you and your fantasy of how arguing works.
@@thehater6189 The hell happened to my other comment? Deleted? Pathetic. Regardless here's the short version: Knowledge and experience base is in a spectrum interplaying with each other. A person cannot intellectualize x without both the knowledge base to map onto x, and the experience base to map also onto x. For example, ask a child to intellectualize and figure out how to drive and repair a motorcycle, without experiences and training. They won't, nor can you ask a child with mostly sensory experiences of seeing how a car or motorcycle is repaired, with little knowledge to intellectualize that process. If you want to become a writer, only intellectualizing that won't work and having fantasies won't work. You have to be a writer and take action as a writer, cultivate experiences as a writer, learn the process, see how the process effects you, and that's why experiences are more valuable in general than intellectualizing.
@danielnelson3136 this isnt the point at all though. Someone doesn't have to try to write or experience being a writer to conclude that writing is boring. This is actual argument here not something totally different about whether a child can conceptualize a bike or whatever. I can tell you that I have no experience with bikes but if you give me the materials, i can figure it out with enough time. This, however, isnt relevant to what the video is about. Also, nobody deleted your comment.
Wes was just clearly out of his element here, his channel is pretty good with him just screaming into the camera basically cutting a promo by himself. His first mistake was trying to be a good boy and mingle in these redpill cookie-cutter circle jerks.

@@thehater6189 Sure, and I know and have watched both speakers. I don't agree or side with Andrew Wilson as he's a Nazi sympathizer in the past, and a Christian nationalist. He has a good debate style, I'll give him that, but I don't like him and hate him enough that I'd side with Wes Watson or any other alternative instead of Wilson.
If you want to do something and you *SUCCEED* in doing it, that's success. If you don't it's failure. That's all there is to this stupid question. What success "looks like" to someone else, is irrelevant. But I guess to a bunch of clowns who do nothing but compare themselves to other men it's all important.
Why do you keep calling him fat, when he really doesn’t look all that fat? I mean sure, he looks a little overweight, but He isn’t as big as the guy sitting on his far left!
My advice to young men and all men for that matter: just follow Catholicism and Jesus Christ. It is grounded in reality. Christ actually did the things he said not just preached them. Do not get lost in superficial thoughts and expectations.
