The amplifier issue is just a software update to increase the subwoofer by 30db. It is purposely set to a lower output by the factory for reasons that make no sense. Every owner needs to contact their dealer to update the software. This applies to all 2014 & 2015 vehicles with the "Premium Sound Package" .

Nick, test driving the Ghibli this Friday with my Wife (who used to work at "I" - saw the sticker in your window). Now we are over in Tampa. I've never replied to someone's RU-vid video but found it really helpful given it's your daily driver. Wish there was a way to reach out to you for you opinion on a few things. Just as one example, Tampa apparently has shy'd away from the 21 inch Titano rims based on rough ride feedback. St. Pete is the opposite. Curious want your take is on Tampa Bay roads like 19 given your on it a lot ;) Honestly, the look of the car is amazing. If buying I would just do the entry level - if leasing, that may change given on what the increased cost is per month. I'm seduced by the look of the car and sound of the car, not necessarily the speed. I'm also a bit concerned my wife will not like having the sound daily but it sounds like outside of sport mode it's probably fairly muted when driving normal speeds through the neighborhood, lol. One last thing which hit home with me from your first video. . . I internally have this dilemma going on inside about the perception of driving a Maserati when viewed by co-workers, and the like. Some of the lease deals are inline with more frequently seems cars that would go at the same price yet would never be viewed as "oh wow, how are you driving that." Not sure how to handle or process that since that "wow" reaction is what I have to the car when I see it and what I want people to have (who doesn't like when something says nice car) when they see it. Anyway, trying to sort that out as well. Any thoughts, or if you know how to directly reach out to me via my RU-vid account, would be appreciated.

I rimmed the car also traveling through a drive thru restaurant. I used silver paint on a rag to hide the scratches. It worked well. Also, I haven't been pulled over by the cops for 25 years; but after getting this car in December I've been stopped nine times. What about you, Nick; are you having the same problem?

ppl complain about it having Chrysler parts but who cares it has a Ferrari California engine! its a great looking car...great vid

Thanks for the reply, yeah my business partner has the brand new blacked out edition big body and it rarely get any attention. I can get a nice sq4 used with 3-5k on it for 70K opposed to buying a Range Rover that doesn't get much attention at all for 115K. Between the two which one do you like more to drive. Also based off of you opinion your saying go with the ghibli? I'm trying to get people curious about the car to wonder what I do.. Then of coarse I can tell them I have my own realestate company and pitch them my business.

You can get your radar detector hard wired in so there are no wire

Hi Nick I have a very similar Ghibli SQ4 Different color inside and I can tell you is a great looking car but it has a lot of issues, The best review in my opinion is: 2015 Maserati Ghibli Review - Kelley Blue Book, With the only thing they didn't mention is how uncomfortable is in the rear seats. I like my car but after a year driving it I'm ready to change it. Regards

Hey Nick, i like your videos, and this car just looks absolutely stunning from the side as well. I am just wondering if the windows and lights switches work well, because apparently they are shared with other cars under Fiat. And putting the switches that are in a 300C and caravan into a Ghibli is just kind of pissing off. No offense to you tho.
