Just a few hours ago I filmed this Maserati MC12 GT1 Centenario on the PUBLIC road in Knokke-Heist! It is a track car an it is officially not allow on the road. But what the heck, he's got lights so why not? You will see a startup, an INSANE acceleration with a little burnout and some detailshots! Enjoy!
This is by far the loudest car I have ever filmed!

I have only seen this once in my life, in Monaco. At first I spotted it covered in a huge blue silk blanket right next to the harbour. Despite never having seen it in person, I immediately recognized its shape and my heart skipped a few beats.. Later that day the cover was removed, and it was even more beautiful in the flesh than I imagined. The MC12 is like a dream that has taken physical form :D

Yea I know it's the GT1, truly incredible! But I like how close the two versions are to each other considering one is fully road legal and the other one competed in GT racing :)

Yea as far as I know most of them are painted in a Blue/light beige color scheme. Although the one I saw was pure navy blue. Such a beautiful car. Would love to see more of these, if you ever come by them again!

Hahaha, everyone freaks out everytime it revs! This was always cooler and better looking than it's sister-car, the Ferrari Enzo - at least in my opinion. Hope to see Maserati create such a beast again but maybe with a hybrid powertrain so it can compete against the new hybrid supercars such as the LaFerrari, Porsche 918 and McLaren P1.

I saw this car at Autoworld Brussel (Italian Car Passion) together with the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster, the LaFerrari, the Ferrari F12Tour de France 64 and the Bugatti EB110. Plus a whole other Italian classics..... Only this month, then all cars goes back to their owners....

What a car. What a sound. What a dream. Ferrari nope. Maserati mc12 yes please. I would put an after market spoiler on it though just for looks. Love their trident symbol as well. It's mean and low and tuned to gone.

no because maserati and ferrari (+alfa romeo and lancia) are parts of the same italian group : Fiat And this maserati has a ferrari engine

This is based on the Enzo (same engine and transmission), and was originally made for homologation reasons (the road version MC12). However, Ferrari demanded that Maserati would limit its revs to 7.7k (Enzo went to 8.2k), or else it would outperform the Enzo in every single way :D It is actually slightly faster on most tracks compared to the Enzo, even despite not reaching peak power (about 30hp difference).
