Kay! These look so good, I think I'll be making them for my wife this weekend! Pro tip: if you don't want stuff sticking to your spoon so much, you should try giving your spoon a light spray of oil!
This reminded me of my Best friend she’s dead now her name was liberty sellers and Well used to always make mash and cheese together okay thank you so much for this inspirational video
1c is equal to 8 ounces of WATER, but only 4.25 ounces of flour. Just for future reference. Ounces changes by what you're putting in. It's different for every substance. 💜
These looked delicious Kay, they looked like potato cakes (or tattie scones we call them in Scotland), only yours were bigger. I think this is the first time I've seen you take a second bite on camera, so they must have been good 😋

Kay, when you don't say "spudtatoes" or "tomiatoes" I get upset🤧, My wife and 3 kids left me because I went into a fit after you just said "tatoes" like a NORMIE! other than that, keep up the great work, much love - The Relics SMP!😁
Hi Kay! Looks amazing, we’ll be making that this weekend! Are you self filming these days? Why isn’t Lee behind the camera anymore? Keep up the great work!
Thanks for showing how to do it without the cheese!! I'm like Lee, I don't like it. XD But that did look really good...minus the cheese of course. It's kind of like a potato (or spudtato) pancake!
Hi Kay, I have a glass top stove too and hate the bother of a burner that's still hot when I want to set something there. Looks yummy, thanks for taking the time to share :)
Normally its called cheese and potato pie or cheese, potato and onion pie. Didnt realise you had to put so much flour if any in with it though, and put in dish and cook/ brown in the oven, but like you always say "its your way " Thought you might have got yourself a much bigger knife to cut the spud tatoes 😄 But fair play you seem a lovely lady and always make me laugh. 💕
Hi kay just have a question for u im not a native english speaker but id like to know why you say spotatoes and not potatoes by the way this isnt a hate comment as i love ur content and keep up the good work
Im not a native speaker either, but each different area in england has its own slang. They call them taties , spuds , murpheys , tubers , taters and probably many more.
If you add more flour you have gnocci dough - roll the dough into long 2cm wide sausages, cut up 2cm long pieces, pop into salted rapidly boiling water, when it rises to the top its cooked, serve with pesto and cream
Kay, thank you so much for your thoughtfulness in the beginning when you reassured us that it should look exactly like the other person’s cooking. That’s just it Kay. I’ve never seen their interpretations, but I love your personality and the way you make your food with love for your son. And, I like that you’re truthful with yourself. Keep being you, Kay! 😁
I love to watch you cook. I have started to cook things I was afraid of cooking because I was worried it wouldn’t turn out right like pizza and pie crust. You are willing to try anything. You are so brave and sweet. I think you are a beautiful person and I wish you the best this world has to offer. Greetings from Lexington, Kentucky.
Mash and cheese with a twist (no cheese). Genius. Can you make cheese on toast but without cheese. I keep struggling and end up covering it with cheese. Any tips?
Kay use more oil when frying!!! It will make such a difference and to check if oil is hot run your hand under water then flick in pan- if the oil is hot you will hear it sizzle. ❤️
We call these tater cakes or pot fritters. My Gran used to make them & they’re super yummy. I do ones with sour cream & chives instead of cheese. Lee might like that! Sending love Ms Kay!
My son hates “cheese” but will eat pizza and very occasionally lasagne. Same as he hates tomatoes but will eat ketchup. Different taste in a different context.
Thanks Kay great review, I was a bit worried at first it looked like you had to much spud tater at first , But it turned out beautiful. It looks amazing, that’s Lees dinner sorted. Thanks Again.
In the south we call these Potato Cakes. I was born In Kentucky USA and this video took me back home. We used leftover mash potatoes and we used a lot more grease. I think a little more oil will help ya out if you do this again. It will help with your impatience of flipping 😂 Have fun. You will want them all the time.
For dry plain flour, 1 cup is equivalent to 4.4 ounces. For water or other liquid, 1 cup is equivalent to 8 ounces. Be careful or the recipe might turn out wrong.
Hello Kay! Me, my friends and my family all gather around to watch your videos every time you upload and are very big fans. Coming from a Turkish background, we would really appreciate it if you had a go at making some turkish dishes YOUR WAY. Baklava or manti would be amazing ideas, but any turkish dish would make us happy, thank you!
